the ones you get from influence.
so far the only "Must" have one I've seen is the deft hand one on secrets so I can get access to some locked places on the world map.
other then that one... anything worthwhile I shouldn't skip? ![]()

Optimal cutting is a great one to grab early (every time you harvest you have a 10% chance to get more herbs ((Usually like 4-9 more when this perk activates)))
Advanced Focus and Master Focus to make your focus abilities stronger.
From what I've seen you only need 1 dialog perk as you can open the 'special' sub-menu and use one of your companions to speak for you. Also if you play mage you get mage related lines etc.
I'm loving the dialog perks personally.
I have been taking all the dialogue stuff so that I don't have to worry about not getting special "better" options if I don't have the right companion with me. It's helped out more than a few times.
Then it was XP bonus.
Deft Hands if you want to use the infinite skills glitch
Aside from that, Extra Potions, Extra Focus, and all Dialogue.
infinite glitch ?
The order I found them most useful in;
Dialogue perks (all of them)
Deft hands
Inventory Space (both perks to get a total of 90)
Extra healing pots
Extra focus perks (both)
Extra potion slot
5% bonus XP
Better searching
Anything else after that. I never used optimal cutting but from the post above it sounds more useful than I thought it would be. I assumed you'd only get one extra herb but if its 4-9 it does sound useful.
5% kill Exp perk is situationally useful as you only get exp from killing things that are +/- 3 levels of your current level. Quests, exploring, and closing rifts are flat exp not boosted by anything.
Deft Hands... Can't complete some quests without it.
How can you get so many perks ? I'm lvl 8 and I won like ony 3 perks or something...

Your inquisition's level determines how many perks you have. Level 20 is the cap for your inquisition and that gives you 20 perk points.
infinite glitch ?
Yah! Just found it today. Here's a video. Basically, there's a glitch where chests will respond all their items, IF you don't take everything. And one chest has a skill amulet in it. But you need Deft Hands to get to it.

Inifinite skills hmmm? Seems like something that would be useful for subsequent playthroughs. Care to share?
EDIT: Aaaaand posted this just as a video went up. Thanks ![]()

I know! I'll do it after my first playthrough. Just shared the info right before your post. I think we posted at the same time.
EDIT: Posted this just after noticing your edit.
Unlocking dialogue is always my top priority. I like that my Inquisitor can be more educated, rather than just asking what such-and-such is. Second is deft hands.
Not sure of the choice in the herbalists perks tbh. Those perks only give you a set amount of herbs and such, if I remember right. You get a butt-tonne of agents in her category anyway, which count as perks in that list, so I'd rather do that. Or at least choose optimal cutting instead.
Anyone know if this also works with quicksave/load instead of fast travelling around?

the one under cullen for armor to make your own armors. I really like them. if you can find the materials, you get some quality armors that you make as well as weapons and they have always been better than the stuff I find or buy elsewhere. I think they are superior or masterworks IIRC.
I felt like getting the increase in item carry was good but really not hugely so because you make a lot of money and get your potions replenshed regularly by doing fast travels to camp or near merchants on other maps. Less carry space forced me to do this and it kept me from running out of potions so I wasn't always feeling that eight was too low unless from a big fight. Also, extra traveling gives you a chance to get more herbs and ores.
If you want to level fast the one for 50% more on foes with creature study. That is a must I would think and maybe one of the first few you get if you want to level and not grind for it.
Search radius not that great because even with the extra radius a lot of times you can't see the stuff and end up running all over to find it which is more a nuisance than not.
Ones for more gold for your stuff and less that you pay help a lot. I think they are under josephine.
One dev. said the first in each category for dialogues is what he thought which gives 50% on codex but honestly, after doing that, in just one category I cannot really say it's such a great deal as codex is just not so often that it's worth wasting a perk whereas creatures are very often and worth more in general. I've also not seen any dialogues recently that seem to be different and can't imagine wasting precious perks on this.

Deft hands as well. There are amulets for power that you can reloot for different characters. Just don't take all the loot. Leave something behind. I did this a few times for Dorian and my main as well as varric to give the best variety. You need deft hands for main I think but not sure about the other two as I already had it.

I hadn't seen anything so far. What sort of changes do you get? I might have had them and not realized. I had the one with cullen and might get others next time.
I feel like all the money perks aren't necessary, cause there are legit ways to get loads of money (Killing those pig things on the Empire De Lion area for loot), or cheating ways to get tons of money. So I don't worry about the money perks.
Inventory isn't as necessary for me, since I regularly get rid of stuff.
I love the dialogue perks. I was able to gain specific agents, like that magister who tried to slave all the mages and freeze time.

I was able to recruit that magister from the mages quest through special dialogue. Now he works with Leliana, and I think it even opened a map quest. Look up how to recruit him as an agent.
