What lessons were learned in ME3MP that should be brought over to DAMP

Here's a quicklist of things I've noticed that are or should've been included from ME3MP enhancements and common complaints:

1. The lobby menu navigation is faster in DAMP.

2. The Ready-up timer should have been brought over (one player holding up the entire lobby is bad).

3. Constant server disconnecting was brought over (no it's not my connection).

4. Saving rewards during game play is in DAMP (however XP should be included as well because the constant server disconnects can force you play multiple games and not be able to level).

5. A new player drop-in causes you to become un-ready in DAMP. ME3MP gave new drop-ins 20 secs to ready up if everyone else was already set.

6. Incapacitated/Potion system(?). Bring back the old revive system and allow players to use potions for healing and self-revive.

7. "Shoulder-bumping" still seems to be an issue. Many corridors are too narrow and a single player can block other from passing through. Players should be able pass by without their sprint stopping, targeting being thrown off, or getting stuck behind other players.

8. Why no visible "I7" ranking in lobby? There's pros and cons to not listing the players Prestige, but listing it helps other players gauge their experience.

9.  RNG store actually fits this game much better than ME3MP. No complaints... so far. Will it start to lag as more DLCs are released later down the line is the question.

10. Game in session is better. Since players can only drop in during end of a wave (which should've been in ME3MP), there's no lag on drop-ins and lower chance of being thrown into a GIS. The players should be able to select if they want to join a GIS or available lobby though.

11. A button (action button). Everything on the A-button was a problem in ME3MP, especially since you couldn't remap the button behavior. It's not a big as a problem now. Let's hope it stays that way.

12. Sync player action. BioWare fix pls. If one person is reviving or performing an action, other players shouldn't be seeing a prompt to perform it as well.

13. Random map selection is missing in lobby system. Host shouldn't have to change maps if everyone doesn't mind it constantly changing. Is there problem with this and players finding available lobbies?

14. Client predictor - It's terrible. Rubber-banding seems to be a major issue. Even with poor latency I'd expect much better than a pre-2000 performance. Being able to play with people across the world isn't so much fun when we're all lagging. The game needs better latency matching or gives players ability to choose.

15. Not noobie-friendly. For those new to DA there's little instruction on MP gameplay. A tutorial on basic gameplay and weapon/armor crafting for first-time players might be useful. There is more detail in equipment than there was in ME3MP but no good detail on usage.

16. OSD control. There's not a bunch of overlays (challenge updates etc) splashing on your screen that prevents you from viewing the battle appropriately. There should be an option to turn off other players statistics (health etc). Hopefully there won't be any Geth Scanner blinding features (or give players ability to toggle those on/off instead of altering Gamma).

17. Dropping out in the final wave. ARGH!!! Still?! This should a 1% issue, not 10%.

18. Host migration is much better than ME3MP.

19. Constantly changing lobbies (to find a good team) seems to result in game disconnects.

20. No spammy powers that I've noticed... yet. Some powers make it hard for melee kits to see though.

21. Is singleplayer game integrity sacrificed for multiplayer enhancement? That remains to be seen. Anyone reaching the ending yet? :P

Overall I'm having fun so far. I'm sure changes in the future will make it more fun.

Edit: Apparently there is a way to tell it's a GIS because all the other players will have a "combat icon" instead of seeing a check-mark next to their name in the banner. If you ready-up in the lobby then you are thrown into the game. Some things you figure out the hard way. lol Throwing up a message in the lobby saying the game is currently in session and including the current round would be a nice touch.

You know what I miss is being able to quit a game that isn't loading correctly or is forever stuck on a black screen. It only has happened a few times but I assume everyone else thinks I'm leaching

That you shouldn't give a party of four players three characters to start with.

Seriously BioWare. You should have just made it an even four characters unlocked, you should have enabled character locking(each character can only be picked once), and what's more?

DISABLE THE FREAKING DIALOGUE WHEN THERE ARE MULTIPLES OF THE SAME CHARACTER IN A PARTY.

I actually think the RNG store here is both better and worse. As most dedicated Me3 players know, the ultra rare wall was ridiculous and you could go a week of straight playing without a single upgrade, trying to optimize your manifest. Class acquisition and upgrade crafting have nice anti rng mechanics here...but getting a very good weapon, the stuff it's worth going all out crafting for, seems about as dicey here as getting ultra rares in Me3. I blame the level system entirely for that. Most unique weapons I wind up salvaging because they're too low level to be useful. I could easily see it taking me thousands of hours to rng grind high level uniques...and that's a problem. At least with Me3, an ultra rare was an ultra rare.

More maps! All of the textures and such are already in the game. More maps before MP grows stale.

Infiltrator effect has become archer age.

And I hate this.

Unfortunately, that's a problem with the people, not the game.

Give it a while. Once more people have more classes unlocked, that might change.

- Dodge mechanic would make it much better paced than it is now, feels like your standard group finder dungeon crawl (e.g. Neverwinter)

- same as above is true for a cover mechanic

- hit animations for the standard attack should have a more precise and transparent timing so I am more in control of my actions

- yeah, start countdown would be really helpful; so many players going for extensive shopping while the rest of the group is forced to wait

- WTF PUSH TO TALK PHULEASE!!!!!!!! I have to mute all those loudspeaker players! and i myself have a coughing cold so go figure!

- respec please! need to explore skills more freely!

- potion overkill, does not really add to the experience

- item upgrade overkill. wtf runes gloves boots grips handles antennae condoms cigarettes. annoying to have to manage too much of inventory

- skill screen less cumbersome please, more clear info required

Push to talk as the DEFAULT SETTING ON PC needs to happen. Why ANYONE at the Dev team thought it is a good idea to be spammed with low quality background noise from people that either do not know that is the default behaviour, or does not invest into it is beyond me.

It was the very first thing I looked for a setting for in the Audio menu, and I am still baffled on why it is missing!

Same reason why they are still using s***** servers for MP. I spent more time looking at "you have lost connection to your session" message than actually playing the dame MP.

Increase the movment speed more when sprinting. I hardley notice a difference in movment speed.

We need me3mp's option to leave the game during host migration. I've been in a few games where the host leaves, reload game, new host leaves, reload game, new host leaves, reload game, and the whole time I'm stuck in loading screens with no escape until the exodus is over.

Respec cards would be nice, especially since while leveling up, it's fun to use one power but later on you probably will want to map out of it and want those points back. Also, the system of not getting the same enemy twice in a row like in ME, or even picking the enemy would be GREAT. I am sick to death of fighting demons ten times in a row.
