I haven't gotten that one yet. ^ But that sounds hilarious.

Sera and Vivienne are also hilarious, such exploits include:

Sera boasting about stealing Vivienne's knickers only to have Vivienne annoy her by buying even better ones.
Vivienne giving Sera a tip about one of her political rivals who's a real jerk to his servants much to Sera's annoyance.

This thread makes me happy. I got a funny one where bull and Dorian argue about being Qunari and tevinter, something about bull having a fair point considering we were currently fighting vints, which we were in game. It was funny.

Like I said, I was sleep addled so I could have totally taken something wrong, but I was just totally weirded out that we were apparently talking about Cass's, ahem, hair down there.

It wasn't technically banter, but when Varric and Cass are talking about Varric's crappy new book, I was crying I was laughing so hard. Honestly that entire minor sidequest is AMAZING.

 

I'm mad at Bioware because I can't bring myself to not take Varric and Cass around with me at all times because pretty much everything they say is fantastic.

I like how she calls him a little **** and takes a swing at him, then he ducks and scuttles away like a crab.

Iron Bull asking Sera to stop "stealing his kills" had me laughing pretty hard, as well as Solas and Varric talking about solving all the humans' problems and Cass interrupting. The banter in this game is absolutely golden.

The conversations between IronBull and Dorian. Dorian keeps asking Bull if he's got a problem with who and what he is and Bull doesn't. I like how they become friends. One conversation Dorian ask if Bull would ever tie him up and gag him and Bull's reply was dinner first and I'll gag you if you don't shut up.

I loved the banter between Sera and Blackwall, they have this uncle-niece relation. Which made even better when Sera caught wind of Blackwalls interest in Josephine and starts giving him sex tips, and ended with Blackwall pleading for someone to make it stop.

That scene was great!! I was really torn as to what to say because I loved both of them, but didn't want them to calm down because their fighting was fantastic : )  I had sincerely hoped that Cass finding out would be given more than a passing line or two.  I just hope that Cass and Hawke get a fun scene together too!

Especially when she is ripping on Solas.

 

There's a conversation at Haven when you can ask her about the past of the elven nation, and she essentially says, "We couldn't have been all that great if we had our asses handed to us. Why on earth should we want to go back to that."

 

She might have become my favorite elven character in the entire franchise after saying that.

Here's a good party banter I found between Varric, Solas, and Cass. Gave me a nice chuckle.

 

Varric: "So here we are, Elf. Cleaning up another Human mess."

Solas: "What would the Inquisition do without our stabilizing influence, Master Tethras?"

Varric: "I assume they'd just start burning things."

Solas: "That does sound like most Humans I know."

Cassandra: "If you gentleman are quite finished?"

Varric: "Now, now, don't get touchy. We're just here to lend you simple Humans our help."

Solas: "Before you cause everything to explode."

Varric: "Again."

Sera belches today and then asks Solas what the elven words for excuse me are. He tells her and she's like good- then you know that next time I don't say it it's on purpose. Cracks me up.

Cutlery!  Not sure of the exact words, but it was Varric asking Vivienne whether or not using the wrong fork at a social function was tantamount to treason or just "social suicide".  Her response about not really knowing because the offending party was promptly killed with the appropriate fork had me laughing so hard I had to pause the game.

Sera telling Blackwall that she likes him because he doesn't ask her about 'elfy things'. Blackwall responds with some snarky mini-rant I didn't catch. Sera's response: Ok, well then, *blows raspberry*

I like bringing Solas, Cole, and Dorian. I've gotten a couple different banters where Solas and Cole talk and Dorian is just like, listening to you is like reading a book that's missing half the pages, or just starts gently teasing them.

Sera is absolutely the queen of party banter. She's got amazing chemistry with everyone. She even gets Cassandra to crack jokes back at her. Not even Dorian could do that, although he's probably in second place for the title.
