Not really a big issue for me, but I find it amusing how equipping an Inquisitor's Hat or certain elemental resistant cowls turns a character's hair completely white or even adds said hair to characters without any (Solas, Vivienne).

Anybody else run into this issue? It's a little disappointing because it turns me off to wearing the armor just because of the visual effect it has. Otherwise, it's also kind of funny. Maybe I'll post a picture later.

Yes, I have noticed this with the afore mentioned Inquisitor's Hat.  It was time to reactivate hide helmets after that.

well not sure about the other ones, but I originally thought the inquisitor hat turned my hair white. At closer inspection, it is a white leather guard. Check it out.

Ya, that is what it looked like to me.

That's really weird. Why make a "stylish" hat, but add a white leather guard underneath it? It's just strange, lol.

Yeah, it's a wrap that covers the hair. I don't know if any of the helmet models actually preserve the hair.

The hide helmet option will take care of all of this, of course. ;)

I can't access the game right now, but quick question: hide helmet hides just the PC's headgear, or the headgear equipped by party members too?

I ask only because if one person is wearing a silly hat, that doesn't necessarily mean the others are too.  ^_^

Hide helmet, hides the entire parties helmets.

It fits with the Orlesian style of it. I would not have been surprised if it included a golden mask as well.

Yes.  It was odd to see Solas with side burns when I equipped him with the Inquisitor's Hat.

Ha, I would've been game for a golden mask. That would have me the hat more desirable to me.  ^_^ Regardless, Orlesians have a weird sense of fashion.
