I have a question regarding valuables. Is there any use to them except for selling to merchants? I have collected a lot of items like a Polish Scarb Charm and Orlesian Medellin of Service. Are Valuables relate to story or quest items? If I can sell them than it would free up my inventory so I can carry more.

I believe that they are Inquisition's "junk" items, so yeah, sell 'em. I've only kept one around because it has a description attached to it and I'm not sure if it is part of a quest.

Keep anything that has a description attached to it. And NEVER hit the sell all button. Research items are also kept there so always drop by the table in Josephine's room before selling your valuables.

Okay yeah I think I would because I probably clear about 50 slots or so.

They're pretty much junk items indeed. BUT!
Research items also end up under the valuables tab, so be sure to turn in research before you 'sell all'
I've also noticed several side quest plot items ending up under valuables (like spider ichor for the storm coast requisitions)

It's confusing and requires your attention.

As a rule of thumb, I always swing by the research table before I sell my junk valuables.

Yeah I was just curious because it got annoying because at the moment I can only hold 90 items and more than half of that was just in valuables. So I was running into not being able to pick some things up because of it.

I wonder how long it let's you buy back things you've sold... I just assumed it was all junk and have probably sold quite a bit of research or other useful things.

I was worried that they were gift items or actually valuable, so I kept everything!

Name threw me, at first. Thought they were for things actually valuable. I marked a bow my DW-rogue was holding for hunting only to see it pooled with junk. Glad I caught that before I lost it.
