Not sure if this is a bug or not, but the Necromancers high level armor doesn't look any different

Topic, was pretty let down after finally getting enough cloth to unlock the Mortalitasi armor.  Considering the legion commander plate (legionairre) and peerless archers tunic (archer) both visually look different (not just color swaps, actual new models), I'm not sure if this is intended or not.  Regardless, beware for anybody who decides to save up for this stuff expecting to get a cool/better look, you may be sorely disappointed.

Really surprised they released the game in such a state.  Almost like they were rushed to finish it and didn't really test for bugs or at the very least spend the effort to fix them.  Guess QA these days only involves bugs and glitches that will literally make the game unplayable.  But a myriad of minor (relative) problems is A-OK.  An official statement on all of this mess would be appreciated.

When you're dealing with a large publisher like EA who answers to its shareholders, they're going to apply pressure to the developers to hit a certain date.  Usually the earlier the release date is announced, the worse for wear the Q&A is going to be once the game releases.  The developers sit in the offices, practically living in the offices for months, and don't dare go home on time or be shamed, all to try and make the game as best as they can before the impossible release date that was set by the publisher probably more than a year beforehand so that their quarterly projected profits please everyone

It's also why we basically only see franchises and same ol same ol year after year after year by these companies, and that Indie Devs are the ones making new and interesting concepts and games to which the triple A publishers take from.  Funny.  They're often technically better, too, because they're the passion of the developers, whereas with big publishers it's all about cracking the whip to push out something for money only.

If VALVe wasn't a private company, not only would Half Life 3 had been released years ago, but so would have 4, 5, and 6, and they'd all be terrible

Trust me, I've worked in the industry before and still have ties to it, I know how things work.  But lately things have gotten ridiculous, I don't think theres been a single AAA release in recent history that hasn't been PLAGUED by tons of bugs and issues when they released, even after the PR holy grail, the day 1 patch, was issued.  I'm sure it doesn't help being under the umbrella of the draconian EA as their publisher though.  Like I said, I know why this is happening, but it would be nice for the developer to at least acknowledge that their game isn't working correctly and that they are working on X, Y and Z and give us a rough estimate on when the fixes will be ready.  Instead typical PR is to either bury their head in the sand and pretend nothing is wrong or accuse the fans who are complaining as entitlted, toxic haters.  Seems like bioware is going for the former currently.

I had the same problem with the Katari. I think it has something to do with the classes whose tier 1 gear is a blue quality item.

Thats pretty lame, really hoping this gets fixed.  Was expecting the necromancer to have some awesome looking robe/helmet, yay for wasting 15+ cloth!

It should be a bug as the T2 armour ment to have a simalir apperence to the card art though in this case the Necromancer and Mortalitasi are pretty much the same. If you notice the card art and her helm are the same.

Really glad I saw this before crafting that then.  (though sorry you learned the hard way)

Does anyone know what her other ones look like then?

That really sucks. She's my favorite class and we don't get an actual alternate skin for her! :(

Does anyone know which of her skins gives her black robes then? Or maybe blue?

Ditto.

I busted my *** saving up cloth for what I was hoping to be a really cool outfit only for nothing to change. I was devastated. Have a hard time even looking at her now. Can't play as her without being reminded of all that wasted effort.

This bug is proof that God doesn't exist.

Yeah, I have the same problem with the Katari. I was let down, because i don't like his basic armor.

Sorry to hear, I'm currently saving up for it (before I saw this post)

Does crafting that armor unlock more color variations though?

Yeah it does, though I haven't unlocked any of them since I'm honestly afraid they won't even show up as different colors.

The upgraded tier two armor does have color change. Still not a new skin though

I have only one thing to say. After upgrade my Necromancer Mortalitasi armor (which one exactly the same as the "T1 or starter" armor - but this is a minor problem to me.) my caracter got 4 legs. If this is not a bug then i dont know what it is. I hope this will be fixed soon because this is a little disappointed.

It's worth it for the armor bonus, they'll patch in the cosmetics later.
