I'm a little bit-a lot disappointed with the romance options for the Male Elf Inquisitor. Considering importance of their same race breeding, I would like to stay pure to 'my' people' traditions and keep my line crystal clear. While Cassandra is definately a charming person, her womb can offer me only human heirs. Please, consider it for the future content: A Female Elf Companion that would be interested only in the Male Elves.
Straight Female Elf -dlc suggestion-

I agree.

This is not a character, it's a romance checklist. DLC should never be nothing but romance fulfillment for a specific group, and anyway, they've already mentioned there will be no new Companion DLC as that requires on-disc content to make sure the character reacts to every situation and feels as fulfilling as any other companion. So no.

I agree. There should be a straight elf option.

No. I'm speaking about character, an elvish traditionalist. I have mentioned breeding for a reason. Conclusions, while on a low level and easy to jump on, are not the best friends. I'm not an expert, in fact I know close to nothing about how characters should be implemented technic wise but considering that I and many other people have already downloaded the game from Origin, 'on-disc' seems to be at least off. I would say that it is one hundred percent possible.

You mentioned that YOUR character is an elvhen traditionalist. Also wanting to breed isn't a character trait. What would the COMPANION be like? Consider that.
And in any case, as I said, no more companion DLC has been the message from BioWare anyway, so this hypothetical would go nowhere.

Sure they should do a straight female elf, but they should race-gate her for only qunari and dwarf males because she'll hate humans and equally hate elves that keep telling her that her only purpose is to pump out baby elves.

Sorry "breed" part had me laughing madly in here xD
When you say that like they "need" to breed as "must do if you are an elf"...I'm simply thinking of them then as sheeps, cows, goats, horses that must breed!

I have mentioned that my character wishes to stay loyal to his people' traditions, yes, and by that very description I have quite clearly demonstrated expectations towards possible female elf character. And again, yes, 'breeding' is an expression of a trait, especially in this scenerio when you have 'traditions' mentioned in the previous phrase.
You have provided no proof, 'said' is not enough.

So we have 6 companions we need for DLC now.
What else is missing? Well I've always wanted a Darkspawn companion. Not for romances, because clearly not every character has to be a romance, right?

Please, do not derail this thread with an unnecessary and ill agenda. There are far better places to express your sympathies in this matter, like tumblr.

It is a common term used in human mating interactions, especially in subjects touching selectivity.
Yes, and a female Qunari. Two female Qunaris, one straight, one gay. And like four dwarves.
So we have 6 companions we need for DLC now.

As far as my lore knowledge reaches, other races do not experience the problem that is haunting elves. They can produce elven offspring only if they breed exclusively with their own people.

He did turn up fine, yes, human ilk of finery.

There's no such thing. If you have a single elf parent, you'll end up a dwarf or human.

Dwarves can only produce Dwarves by mating with Dwarves. The offspring of a Dwarf and a Human is a hybrid species (or Sandal).
We have no clue if Qunari can even breed with non Qunari, there's zero mention of half-Qunari.
Why is an Elf PC who wants to have Elven babies more important than a Qunari PC?

It is a preference of mine. Straight Elf Female blends well with elven supremacist type who seeks to reestablish an ancient order.

Elven offspring are the rarest known product of breeding among the playable races.
It is because I like them most.
