... woooooow okay at first I though this whole thread was hilarious, I got a few chuckles. And even though I generally only RP gay males, I do like the idea of another female elven companion. And I would probably romance her for the sake of dialogue.

 

But I realize - and accept - that it's not going to happen in this game because Bioware said they won't.

 

OP, you can complain and demand all you want about wanting it in THIS game, but you're wasting your time. And yes, I'm well aware that you're going to come up with some sort of supremacist overly polite reply on how it's not wasting your time, because you're too stubborn to listen to anyone.

 

It almost sounds like you're letting this stuff rule your life. If it's not this, it's the male elven arms (I do agree though, they need to be fixed as soon as Bioware can make it possible, just not ohmygodRIGHTNOW I CAN'T DO ANYTHING ELSE BUT COMPLAIN UNTIL THEN). C'mon... it's just PIXELS, man. Frikkin' pixels on the screen. Not the end of the world.

 

And while I was amused at first, now you're just creeping me out. I do hope that the way your Inquisitor wants to treat his pixel elven girlfriend like he owns her is limited to RP stuff, and not... anything else. As a woman, the way you talk about her and what you would like to see in your pixel conquest (including the whole cutting off fingers thing because how dare she show interest in someone else) is downright creepy. Good thing it's just fantasy then I suppose, knock yourself out.

 

I suppose it's a good thing your Inquisitor and mine (male elf) will never have a chance to meet, because mine would probably end up punching yours in the d*ck just to shut him up before gallivanting off with Dorian and Bull

Your skills of observation did not serve you well this time. This is a suggestion thread, one that has not been 'bumped' by me and if not for some kind people with proper tastes then it would most probably remain buried. Oh, but I enjoy to listen to people, as much as I adore the sounds of nature, even the most dim echoes in the woods intrigue me. I would gladly say that I'm right, but considering suggestive nature of this thread, there is no need for it, except for the already said 'what would I do'.

 

Now that your claim about me boosting this thread has been dismissed, I will shortly answer on the broken-glued male elf issues. As far as I know, this is an RPG, not a hack and slash. Cutscenes play a vital role here, they stimulate immersion. When your character looks broken and glued then it is very much difficult to keep RP in the G. Maybe it is a result of my narrow imagination and horrible personality, but I can not play a broken-glued elf nor I want to do so. About complaining, yes, I find it quite basic to complain about something that is botched. I'm a customer and they are a company. It is an insult in the first place that this game has been released with so many obvious bugs. We were promised good looking elves, baited with Solas in his unique widening armour and Sera, character using human model. We were baited with a face of a male elf that can not be recreated in the character creation tool. I will not stop you from rationalising why your pixels are broken, but personally I prefer sanity; when I buy x then I want x to be fully functionable.

 

Actually the optionable plot with cut fingers is not about her having audacity to exercise ill feelings toward other character, but about breaking her will, putting in time and space that she will face from now on, in a sense 'welcome to reality'.

Not as much 'me' as that there is no other future and whimsical past should be forgotten. Personally, I would rather refer to her as 'wife', intimate intercourse, that is breeding is just a natural consequence of marriage. Well, similar thing has already happend in BioWare game. Jaesa Willsaam(SW:TOR) is a fine example of a manipulated character that you can exploit and extract if you follow the illumination of the dark side.

With the addition of how torturing one's wife to break her will, and forcing her to breed qualifies as "marriage" and "intimacy," I am now certain that this entire affair is some Kafkaesque troll equivalent of performance art, designed to send the audience running out of the theatre (or forum) screaming for brain bleach, and wishing that they had never been taught to read.

 

If so, I think I have to confess that it has been extraordinarily successful (although I would not suggest being proud of it.) If not, then I really suspect that I should feel sorry for the women you dated in your locality before your reputation (hopefully) preceded you.

More levels of creepy have just been reached. Congratulations. Can you really, honestly tell me that you don't find anything wrong in 'breaking her will'? Like, she is not even allowed to be her own person because it does not suit your purpose for her, which is just to pop out kids? Because if you can't... you really need help.

I already said I agree with you there (for the most part) and I have posted in that particular thread myself (hell, you even quoted me there once or twice). But yes, I do think the reason why you're so bothered with it is because of a lack of imagination on your part. I see the broken arms, but I can deal with it for now (I just focus on the face instead) and still enjoy my game, because I don't let it rule my life and ruin my enjoyment of the game.

There are other, similar story moments in the DA universe, not to mention BioWare's work in total. I'm terribly afraid that you read what you want to see here. I have said it multiple times already(I might become a next Doctor soon) that bride in making would agree to marriage, the mainstream version of this thread is about female elf supremacist from a good family, willing to engage in the arranged marriage. The optionabl version is about her being persuaded into marriage. I have used word 'force' in this context solely. Also, please, do not malform my messages, 'torturing' refers to ongoing proccess. I have said only about presenting her with fingers of her 'beloved', I would not call it torture, it is a single event. Not to mention that I have suggested it for the optional, that is alternative romance sequence. It would add more dramatism.

There is nothing wrong with using shock therapy in the pursuit of elevating ones mind, freeing it from the shackles of the past events.

Only union between elvhes results in elf offspring. Importance of breeding is quite obvious.

Yes, most definately I lack this kind of imagination. I do not like to pretend that it is raining when someone is spitting in my face. My vision is rather fine and I can focus on whole of character, not only facial expressions.

 

It is not a real life topic, but the one that is concerning male elves. Maybe a little bit far-fetched, but it works.

 

Well, it would work well for a darker plot twist. Most definately there would be more funky options. I don't believe that anybody is a ones own person, but more of a cultural, racial product. My elf bride, would be simply a product of mine within ramifications of Elvhen Glory.
