Hardly being an elven supremacist if you want to preserve what is left of the elven culture, have the elves treated as equals, and not have the elves disappear all together.
More of a elven equalist. ![]()

I do not share an ideal of equality. How other races treat elves is an effect of the power they wield over them. I want to have an option to, yes, preserve elven race, but also to ally with someone who seeks rise of the elves of old; immortal, widely gifed with magick.
What, as in bisexual elf couldn't be just as interested in reestablishing, etc? This doesn't make much sense. It is a preference of mine. Straight Elf Female blends well with elven supremacist type who seeks to reestablish an ancient order.

Anyway, good luck with that. From the dev comments made in earlier variants of this thread, I'm under impression their preference to cater to supremacists of any race is somewhere between "nope" and "do not want". Similarly requests which reduce the companions just to the race -- the "give us a dwarf romance" and "give us a female qunari" folks can share their tales here.
Yes, it is less probable and no, actually it makes sense. This thread's name clearly speaks about the straight companion, there is no need to entertain other options and if you immensely wish so then please create your own discussion.
Thank you. Solas is a female elf only romanceable companion. I wish for a Solas's female counterpart. If there is an interest then there is money to be made.
I doubt there is chance to have babies in DAI so I don't think breeding stuff matter other in headcanon. I wouldn't mind another companion but I believe female dwarf that would be LI has most demand ^^ Race-gated against humans and elves to be fair for dwarves and qunaris.
I hope they do this, and make her infertile just to annoy you.

I don't know if we have a chance to actually see a product of amorous interaction, but possibility alone is enough if presented with a proper setting.
Nope. Sexual orientation isn't a conscious choice, while interest in reestablishing elf culture is. Preferring men, women or both/neither doesn't have impact on whether you feel "your" people should have right to exist on their own terms. There's no logical correlation between these two factors.Yes, it is less probable and no, actually it makes sense.
I can read, I know what this thread's name speaks about. I question the premise of it, that's all. There's no need to create a separate thread just to discuss whether the request in this one makes sense. This thread's name clearly speaks about the straight companion, there is no need to entertain other options and if you immensely wish so then please create your own discussion.

I will repeat 'yes, it is less probable'. Preferences open a door to a childless union and the character I wish to see wants none of it.
Your question has been answered. It makes sense. Now please, refrain from derailing this thread in the favour of your agenda.

I think you might be better served by this. Enjoy!
Agree INDEED!
They're not gonna make a romance DLC character

I'm already a Justiciar. Have you not heard about the Lord Surinen, a humble servant of the Temple, an instrument of Auri-El's will? It matters not, I thank you anyway for bringing infinite in their wisdom Thalmor to my attention.
Maybe one day we will get to explore the glorious past of Thedas's elves. May the Elvhenan rise from its long sleep.
I find it amusing that now that it's the options for straight guys that are lacking, suddenly, people are in favor of extra romance content and DLC romance characters. Just a game or two ago, I clearly remember a distinctly different consensus on the boards that these games aren't "dating simulators" and people should just be happy with what they got since romances are "optional" and "side-content". What happened?
I would have played a male elf if there was a female elf (straight option)
But i wanted an elf/elf relationship, so i rolled a female instead. I adapted.
Im playing a Pro dalish mage and Sera doesnt like elfy elfs
fml
Sweet a straight female elf warden so she's infertile.
That works right?
No, it does not work. I suggest to read the first post.

Elves happened.
They went overboard on satisfying the non-straight quota of romance choices in order to dodge the inevitable protests they would have gotten had they left anyone out.

I see there:
1 heterosexual female
3 heterosexual males
1 bisexual female
1 bisexual male
1 homosexual male
1 homosexual female
To me that is a strange mix, and really lacking in straight female choices especially considering I am sure that most people playing this game are, just statistically speaking, hetero males.

No, you are not a Justicar, you're a fan bitter because he didn't get fanservice. (The funniest thing is that your purported objective here is indeed served for the female PC.)
I'm simply suggesting you stay in Skyrim pretending you're Thalmor, and leave the feedback forum for those who actually are running into issues.
Well

Keep in mind that homosexuality in Thedas is accepted and a normal thing, (not like our pathetic planet) So its quite viable that in a group of 9 people (in thedas) arent mostly straight

(Because of that, a particular companion quest annoyed me for feeling shoehorned in. It was well written enough... just not in line with what we've seen of Thedas.)

I think it fit in fine. They went out of their way to explain that it wasn't sexuality at the core of the quest, but actually bloodlines and heredity.

I'm. I'm not bitter and most certainly I do not care about fanservice. What I care about is an integrity of my elven character.
It is Feedback & Suggestions forum.

I probably havent done the quest so i dont understand? do they point out being gay as an issue?

So that's why I don't see it as being 'shoehorned' in. It's relative to the DA Lore and it's a theme that they haven't explored before.
