At least I'm assuming it's a bug, or at the very least an oversight.
Normally when you hit the Share button on the PS4 controller, the game automatically pauses while you're out in the media/upload center. In fact, up until today I really thought this was a feature built in to the PS4's OS, and not simply a convention that most developer's followed.
I was at the point on the beach in Storm Coast where a certain massive reptile and a particular embiggened humanoid are having a lively discussion (how's that for masking a spoiler? 
) I was pretty far up the beach, and figured I'd be safe. So I snap off a screenshot and go do my thing, and come back about 3 minutes later. To my surprise (and amusement), the two aforementioned creatures are gone, and I have an unaccounted for pile of bones literally at my feet. As an aside, apparently my participation is superfluous...my party autonomously 3-manned a freakin' giant large hominid.
Anyway, to the devs who are keeping the long laundry list of things to fix in the various versions of the game, could you add the feature to pause the game when you invoke the Share button on the PS4? Thanks, you're a peach.
