Just wanted to voice a few ideas that I don't think would take a great amount of effort to implement, but would make the gameplay experience a whole lot better.

  • Hide only specific helmets - Some helmets look great, some look not so great. Some characters look awesome with a helmet (Vivienne), some without (Solas). A slightly more flexible option than "hide all helmets for everyone" would go a long way to make the game look better and fit each player's preference.
  • Tactical camera needs to zoom further away - I know it's been said before. Tactical cam really annoyed me initially, but once I stopped thinking of it as a Dragon Age game and started thinking of it more like XCOM (with a controller) it was much better. But still, zooming out into tactical camera isn't even close to being useful. I need more than a tiny slice of the battlefield if I'm going to employ any kind of clever tactics.
  • Origins-style movement - We can right-click with the mouse to move in tactical camera, so we know the functionality exists in the game. I could be mistaken, I've been playing with a controller a lot longer than with m+kb, but regardless, the "move to point" function is there. It's just a matter of expanding this behavior outside of tactical camera. I have enough programming experience to know this probably isn't as simple as it sounds, assuming the code wasn't designed to do that, but I doubt it's an enormous amount of work. Of course this functionality is especially useful for looting/reading/gathering etc. Click on a node to move to it and interact.
  • Display controller layout - It's bad enough that we can't rebind keys on a controller, and we can't even switch between different layouts/left-handed friendly options, but I can't even see the control layout? That's just bad.
  • Speaking of which... KB+M+Controller - I may prefer moving around and looting and stuff with a controller, but I still want to be able to push 'M' to open the map or F9 to quick-load. I don't understand why enabling the controller means disabling KB+M entirely.

Other than that, everything is awesome! (https://www.youtube....h?v=StTqXEQ2l-Y)
