Do you know? 

Ive been exploring alot and I'm medium-far in the story I think. I've searched all shops and only got like 4 armor schematics! 
I seem to recall that they told us "If you can see X armor you can probably wear it". But well... I cant find anything.

I also got no clue how to break down items for materials instead of selling them.

Any help in this will be appreciated! 

EDIT: By very few I mean the main armor. For each category (light/medium/heavy) I only have 1-2 schematics.

One of the shops in the market in Val Royeux sells a load of them, quite good ones among them.

There is a vendor in the Hissing Wastes run by a dog that has several very good armor schematics, they are expensive, but well worth it. The Sturdy Battlemage armor with the accompanying arms and legs is the best looking set I have found.

Having a huge problem finding T3 dagger schematics, it's making me a sad panda

I want acctually mage robes. All i am getting is basically long leather coats and mini leather coats with a book on the belt (Mage Schematics Perk Masterwork Armor)
I am pretty dissapointed. Orleisian battle armor does not look that great either. The Hissing Wastes armor looks pretty iffy aswell. I want more unique armor schematics to use Dragon parts on.

Like Keeper Schematics. I don't think they exist.

Finally found Orlesian battlemage armor, but I cant find out how to attach arm+leg upgrades to it! Anyone know? Gaah... this crafting system is fun but really frustrating.

Edit: I have both , but they dont show on armor modification.

Just had it confirmed for me, no way to break down items for materials so if material is scarce, decide if you really want to build it.

Head into dungeons which will give you loads of schematics. Dragons will drop them as well.
