I haven't gotten far at all, but I'm already seeing better looted weapons than the "Flames of the Inquisition" weapons.
Is this just me?

They periodically give you improved versions of the DLC weapons later in the game.  In fact, they just gave me the Tier 3 versions of the DLC weapons, and I don't use them because I think they're overpowered.

They are start of game weapons. People were moaning last time that there was no point to loot as weapons pack weapons were better than anything found in the game. I believe we will finally get schematics to build high end FoI weapons and armor.
