Dorion, Cole, Solas because he is Spock as an elf. Casandra and Varric because he is Varric. Haha

Cole is my favourite by far.

 

Other than the ghost boy, I really like Varric, Solas and Cassandra.

I kind of like all characters,  I have no strong dislike for them at least. Maybe the list will change when I get to know the characters better.

Tier 1: Cassandra - Iron Bull - Sera

Tier 2: Varric - Solas

Tier 3: Vivienne - Black Wall

Tier 4: Cole - Dorian

I don't hate/ dislike any of them.

Iron Bull and Blackwall are my top two, and tied at that.

Solas and Dorian next, again. Tied.

Varric next, then Cassandra, Viv, Cole, and Sera.

 

The only companion I don't actually like IS Sera.

Probably Cassandra. She's a Crusader with Common Sense and a hint of Pragmatism. That's a rather nice combination.

2nd would be Vivienne. I kind of get an "Ancient Queen" vibe from her. Has a royal presence and almost looks statuesque. I liked the backstory and the conversational paths for her.

Varric, Solas, and Cole are somewhere below. Sera is a bit of a dissapointment.

Cole, definitely. The character design is awesome (I have turned on helmets ever since I've gotten him), the concept is just so neat, he's a weird character type that I can still sympathize with and his dialogue and banter are great - for instance, there's one piece of banter he has with Blackwall about beards that I really enjoyed.

Almost makes me want to read that book he appears in.

I like almost everyone but my fav are Solas, Sera, Dorian, Blackwall and Iron Bull ( Solas, Sera and Blackwall are almost always in my team). Don't care about Cole, Varric and Vivienne. Don't have good relationship with Cassandra.

For the first time in a dragon age game I like every companion, the only one I am close to not liking is Vivienne but thats more about clashing views rather then a bad character.

 

Sera and Cassandra are definetly my favorites. Blackwall coming in third.

Dorian He's just so dashing Sera is probably the only one I am not very fond of, though she has her moments. She reminds me of Rebel Wilson, but taken to the extreme...

Vivienne. She hates my inquisitor, my inquisitor hates her, and I enjoy every one of her lines and every one of her appearances.

She's got a personality and flair that I cannot detect in any of the other characters.

 

Oddly, I cannot understand why people are so enchanted about Solas. I think he's a bore, mostly because lacks a personal history other than "I've been in the fade for a long time and I know about the fade."

 

Not a companion, but I think Leliana is very well done. She goes through major character development, and it's beautifully shown.

Cassandra at number one, taking me by surprise! Followed by Varric and Dorian.

 

And I know Cullen isn't a companion, but I was extremely, pleasantly surprised by how his development went!

Does it even need to be asked? Its obviously Iron Bull and its not even close. I mean, he asks you to beat him with a stick as a "training exercise"  

 

Also a fan of Cassandra- just a really well-rounded, well-written character.
