Hey guys, does anyone have an idea? cause as far i can tell, they only really spawn in loot containers.

Some enemies usually humanoid ones will drop cloths i think the tier is dependent on their level or location, i think tier 4 will only drop from dragons but not 100% sure

There's tier 4? I thought the max was 3 from the loading screen tips.

As far as i know, High Dragons will drop Tier Four materials.

Tier 3 is the highest grade of schematics (I think), High dragons do drop indeed tier 4 hides, as well as bones and some other crafting material.

In the emerald glades there are walking around some non aggresive blueish creatures called snoufleur, they drop really good (and a lot) hides, also great bears there drop good hides. You can hunt some there or in Emprise du Lion (on the frozen river close to the main camp). Even at lower levels you can pretty easily kill them, although you should be aware of packs of black wolves.

 

Also do mind, I found out that there are different grades in the grades of schematics (yea, I know), if a schematic has the name superior at the front it's the best possible schematic, I believe.

 

Edit: Oops, those are leathers, hmm the dales loden wool (tier 3 rare) I found on templars in Emprise du Lion, probably also in the hissing wastes, not sure about that last one though.

Also if you conquer the Suledin Keep, you can send out missions for cloth form the War Table.

Since now i've found that there is a Keep (repeatable) opertaion to get cloth and leather, at least.
