MESSAGE POPULAIRE !

This game is REALLY GOOD.

I think it's important for both devs and fans to hear this right now, because BioWare did an absolutely amazing job here and you just can't get enough praise for it. I want to do everything I can to encourage this level of quality in RPG games.

And I want to say this before I finish the game. Given the history of BioWare games I think this caliber of quality can potentially get lost otherwise: ME3 was an absolutely amazing game, but a lot of that was lost due to the bad ending it suffered. So even before I reach the end of DA:I I want to make it clear how much I'm loving this game right now, and how amazing the whole experience has been up to this point.

I fully expect the game to continue impressing me as I dive deeper into the many areas it provides. But come what may, know that you guys did something right.

Great Job BioWare!

Ok I feel better now. :D

But if more games were like this one, I would never get anything productive done.

Truly this would be the greatest plague of our generation.  *sagely ominous nodding*

Good! But it's been said, many times. You just wouldn't know it by reading these forums.

True, it's been said by critics, not as much by fans, though I get the sense most feel the same way. Since it doesn't get said enough here on these forums as you say then all the more reason to add it.

Really though my main motivation was simply that I was suffering from an overload of awesome after  [GAME EVENTS I SHALL NOT DISCUSS DUE TO SPOILERS]  happened and I really just needed to let that out. :D

I'm having an absolute blast with the game and it's the little things that have really contributed to an all around amazing gaming experience.

The fact that I can open doors to most building and not have to anticipate a loading screen was one of the first things I noticed and appreciated about the game. The first time I opened the doors to Haven's Chantry I remember going "WOW. No loading screen! I'm just ... here!"

All the companions are absolutely fabulous.

I'm enjoying the story content as well and I have barely grazed the surface of it. Just thought I'd mention that since there have been a lot of complaints about the story being lacking. :)

Absolutely agreed. It took me a lot to pull the trigger on buying the game but when I did I felt this game would be great. That is all I wanted this game to be, not perfect or near perfect. Not better than Origins or DA2, but I just wanted it to be good. Turns out it's great and I am so happy to be able to play this and to talk about this game. I have not played too much of it so I cannot speak for the story, however the gameplay is so much fun. It feels very odd when I enter a building and not have a loading screen. Odd and very nice.

This game is fantastic, I'm 40 hours in and just did the champions of the just mission (I think that's the name). By far a great experience and truly the best game if played all year. Bioware outstanding.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's my favorite BW game. The only thing holding it back from being my favorite game of all time are the bugs, which I hope are stomped on. Very well done BW, very well done. I have never been this enthralled with exploring every nook and cranny before. I have loved every second of this game so far.

Agreed. In my opinion, it's easily my game of the year.

Partly because it's great but also because there has been a huge dearth of good, new games. The only real contender would Shadow of Mordor but it's a little too short and not as replayable, still excellent though.

Watchdogs was a huge letdown, AC:Unity looks just like the next yearly entry in AC, Far Cry 4 looks good but it also looks like FC3 with coop and a new map. What else has there been?

This is the only real sequel to have any substance or change. And it is excellence. I have a few nitpicks here and there but they are incredibly minor.

I used to be more a Mass Effect fan than a Dragon Age fan but Inquisition and the world Bioware has built for Dragon Age just gets much better with every installment and honestly I can say that Dragon Age Inquisition is, in my opinion, Bioware's best game.

Agreed! It is a fantastic game and I know I will have a blast with it once it gets a few more patches and drivers. From what I have been able to play, what I experienced was awesome!

I concur, this is a wonderful game. And this is from someone who counts DA:O as one of their top 3 favorite games ever. I feel myself "falling into the world" of DA:I, just like I did with Origins.

This is definitely for me one of the best games I've played. I think this may indeed be Bioware's best game. I was absolutely enthralled with mass effect but now, closing in at 30 hours, I think I may like this game more than all 3 mass effects. Great job bioware. You've created something amazing once again!

It starts off a bit generic story wise, but once you get further into the story it get really good. Love it indeed.

When I got away, with my second version of Carrion, from the Hinterlands and started recruiting more party members and started doing other quest I saw what everyone else was talking about. Most of my initial review was being in the Hinterlands way to damn long. All though, imo, that's a bit of a game flaw. You want your first world to really hold unto the player and really get the player interested in continuing the game. The Hinterlands was not doing this for me, but once I got deeper into it I wanted to continue playing the game.

It sucks I'm essentially restarting a third time over, but I been having problems with my characters CC looks for a while. lol

I got the game today, playing on gaming laptop using kb and m, and, it truly is, an awesome game!!!
I have been scared of playing due to so many negative posts, but I haven't personally any problems with controls, or combat, or graphics. In fact, I really like the controls, even the tactic camera isn't that bad so far, and I've used it a few times. The cc is wonderful (could spend hours upon hours in there!), the world is epic (and I've barely been anywhere!) and I love the characters I've met so far, even the ones I wasn't sure about. I have a long lists of loves that wouldn't even fit here! This is seriously the game I've been waiting years to play! Definitely game of the year for me!

I admit I was in the wrong. As I stated I made the mistake of playing the Hinterlands far longer than I should have. And it skewed my view essentially of the game.

I played the game for the second time today. The first was during the EAA trial. Now I'm cursing my game pad for only lasting 10 hours before I have to recharge it. I wouldn't be here now if my game pad was still working.

Glad to hear it! Yeah a lot of people think they need to stay in the Hinterlands firever, but as soon as you have that 4 power you can move on. And then the world is your oyster!

I had 29 power in the Hinterlands before doing something else.

Not trying to rain on your parade but do you really like the questing? I'm very disappointed by this game, if every RPG were like it I would be very sad. The quests are very simple and boring.

Dude! Did you not know you could move on? I got about 17, and I thought I was exploring a lot.

Some guy on reddit got 80 before going to Val Royeaux
