Everyone:

Just what the topic title indicates. I've looked high and low, but insofar as I can tell, there's no way to display this information. Please tell me I'm just missing something obvious, and that it's not "working as intended."

Also, while I have your attention, does the tactics menu ever go beyond the three options of "disabled" "enabled" and "preferred?"

I'm still in the Hinterlands, if this makes any difference.

Thanks for any help you can provide, folks.

TAB on the PC will show the enemys health and level, so whats the PS4 equivalent? maybe a stick click? Also going in to tactical mode and highlighting an enemy will show level and a bunch more info, depending on how much research you've done on that particular Mob.

If you want the full info go into the tactical menu and hover over the mob. If you hit L1 and target the creature I believe it tells its level. In the least you see it's name If it's white it's easy, yellow is a bit over your level and red is way above your level. You can also tell if they're way above your level by a red skull hovering over them.
And no, to your second question. That's all you get.

Only the main quests have recommended character level ranges. The side quests are usually in that range occasionally there's a part that's 4-5 levels higher on the map but they're avoidable

Hmm. Why would the tactics programming be reduced in scope so much? I used that a lot in DAO and DA2 to manage my party. Was this an attempt to get more players to use the tactical camera?

Clicking R3 will lock on to enemy, then just select by moving the right stick in the enemy's direction. It should show health bar at the top of screen, with a Lv below. Side quests are usually whatever lv you are, but might require you to travel through higher lv territory.
