Silly questions, but do party members share health pots? I find that with 8 pots on hard mode isn't nearly enough, I'm only in the hinterlands so far but I find my party generally cannot survive protracted conflicts with mobs for too long. Also, for some reason I don't seem to be able to share regen pots between my party as well. Only my inquisitor can use them Do we get the ability to upgrade the amount of pots we can carry in the future or is this done mainly to put more emphasis on playing strategically and mitigating damage? I know traveling to camps, restocking and resting refills your pots and health.
Also- what exactly is guard? Do tanks need it to build up damage resistance or something? Do specific abilities generate it? Is it limited to shield and sword chars? Does auto attacking build it up?
And one more thing, as a dual wield Dalish rogue I'm finding that a lot of my attacks end up with me slashing at thin air and it's even difficult to focus on a specific target as a ranged char(Varric, Solas, etc) without missing a lot. Does tactical camera/clocking right analog stick mitigate this? Can you lock on to a character and auto attack like you could in origins? Finding the combat to be enjoyably challenging so far.
As this game doesn't have lvl/difficulty scaling, how do I know what level mobs are so I know which areas to do and which to come back for later? I know the Hinterlands isn't meant to be done all at once but I'm not moving on to Val Royeaux until I've done a few more quests, gotten a mount, and have become more comfortable with the combat mechanics. Loving the game so far
Also, how do I keep track of my stamina levels? I notice that even barring cooldowns I'm not able to use certain abilities after awhile? I can track mana usage by seeing how much is depleted thru abilities but my stamina bar remains unchanged no matter how many abilities I use. Is this a bug? It's the yellow/orange circle around the inquisitor's portrait, right?
