What is your take on it?  I feel like the bonus isn't really worth it compared to how long it takes to reach 20, plus you are losing out on the opportunity to play on threatening and perilous (both of which can give WAY more money).  If promoting gave +3 of the stat or even +2 it would be worth it, but +1 is virtually nothing especially compared to how much it gimps you.

I promoted my arcane warrior for the skill reset.

Though what ill likely do going forward is designate certain classes I like and am competent with as non-promoters, and leave the stat building to other mages/warriors/rangers that I am not as fond of.

Promotion gives every character you own a +1 to it's base stat.

Promote a Reaver and all of your characters get +1 Constitution.

Promote a Keeper and all your characters get +1 Willpower.

ect...

Leveling is a bit slow so I do feel reluctant to do so, despite a pretty decent reward for doing so (I know 1 point isn't much, but it adds up). I will probably level all my characters to 20 and then keep recycling 2-3 of them (most likely one of each class).

I do hope they increase the experience gain a little though =p It's a bit overly daunting at the moment.

As long as I am gearing up with my friends, I would likely promote whenever I hit 20.

Plus, the respec is nice since I have just been using points without a clear build in mind.
