I've only tried 3 times so far (on PC), but

First Try: could barely move around it was like my character was stuck in mud or something, jumping seemed to help. 

Second Try: everything went fine, we managed to clear the level after a really intense fight in area 5 (which I think would be impossible for a group of level 1s so I'm not sure how this is supposed to be balanced). Instead of getting a results screen was kicked back out to the menu so I didn't get any exp or items for my group (I kept my gold though)

Third Try: super bugged this time, couldn't revive anyone if they fell for some reason, we wiped at area 5 and was stuck in the fade with never going to the results until I finally quit to the menu. Again didn't get any exp or items for the trouble.

I'm getting really frustrated with it.
Is everyone having problems?

I have experienced all three of the bugs you described.  I believe bug #1 is caused by the host person having a generally terrible computer or connection.  To solve this one just leave the game when it happens, or host your own games if it happens often (I've only had it happen twice in 3 days of 10ish games per day).  #2 has happened to me multiple times as well, but you should have kept your items if you were lucky enough to get any - I did keep mine - but there was no "card flipping" screen, they just showed up in my inventory.  Missing out on xp is awful though. For #3, not being able to rez is extremely annoying when it happens, but we went to the results screen like normal after we all entered the fade.

 

I also experienced a 4th bug, which is far more common for me than the ones you described, which prevents you from even joining the lobby at all.  I'd say I get this at least 3-4 times per gaming session, and the only solution is to alt-f4 the game.

 

I really hope they fix these things soon.

Multiplayer seems like a last minute thing.  Why make it peer to peer with someone hosting on their own computer.  Why not have multiplayer work on dedicated servers?  I have friends in Australia and New Zealand and multiplayer with them gets really choppy.
