Okay, so we all know how long promoting our multiplayer characters will gonna be. But what I want to know is how do you obtain higher tiered armor pieces? At the moment, its rather easy to get high level weapons and accessories if you roll enough chests, but armor drops are still extremely stingy. I can craft tier 1 and tier 2 armor from salvaging those mats, but the higher tiers elude me.

 

It seems quite evident that the search for better armor is the real grind here. I mean, without better armor, most characters die from one or two hits in the highest difficulty level. Has anyone here obtained tier 3 or higher armor? And how can you acquire them?

Has tier 3 armor been confirmed anywhere?  Currently in the vain attempt it yields something, im trying to craft all armor for arcane warrior.  Should have chosen a class without so much cloth though, lol.  Gonna take a while.

Only slightly more armor it looks like, at least for necromancer.  Has 12 more armor than the default, which likely translates into nothing, especially when on higher difficulties.  The real reason is for the unique look, if only necromancers higher armor actually looked any different...

Ok I crafted all the tier 2 armors for Legionnaire and I don't have any other options to craft armor for this character. It seems like tier 2 is the limit of the game... unless there is another as-of-yet unknown method of getting higher level armor.

This should be more clearly explained before I wasted what little cloth I had left.

I have a tier 3 armor for my legionnaire. Its an iron bound armor which looks gold in color. Have you crafted the legion commander armor? I'd like to know what that is before I craft it and wast my mats.

As I pointed out here, you are mistaken. You were showing us tier 1 armor that is level 3. What people want is tier 3 armor that is AT LEAST level 5, possibly higher.

 

The legion commander armor is tier 2. You should get it as it will have a lot more armor.

Yes, I've crafted it, but it didn't lead to any tier 3 armor.
