So, I made two Crow Blades (one masterwork and the other not) and then made two Masterwork Ornate Dagger grips, but it's not giving me the option to combine them at the kiosk-thingy. Any ideas why it isn't working? Playing on the PS4, btw.

there's two types of daggers, each use different grips. some daggers do only single target damage, they are ''simple daggers'' and use the regular grips. there's also daggers that do a little less DPS at equivalent item level, but do AOE damage, those are dual-blade daggers and they use dual-blade grips.

Okay, thanks! Wish the game had been a little been more specific on that...Just wasted a crapload of rare materials.

What is the simple dagger tiwe two hilt called then? I made the same mistake and got dual wieldg grip

you don't seem to understand it

 

simple (single-target) dagger = stabbing dagger = uses REGULAR grips

 

Long (AOE) dagger = slashins dagger = uses dual-blade grips
