Flashpoint grants your next spell zero CD if you crit.
Energy barrage has 12 projectiles. Meaning 12 x chances to crit.
Does this work or will either ALL or NONE of the projectiles cause a critical hit?
Infinite energy barrage /w flashpoint?

Going of the description i assume so since most spell have aoe or splash damage as long as you get a crit somewhere it should proc.

yes I can verify that with around 10% crit u will be running infinite barrages. BUT its a 50 mana spell which mean even with regen synergies u will not run more than 3 barrages at any given time

Flashpoint has a Cooldown itself. The timer reset will only work if it is available.

You will only be able to do it twice every 10 seconds, as has been pointed out already, Flashpoint itself has a 10s cd and will not trigger the no cd even if you crit on all 12 of your bolts.

i see this ONLY working with rift mage's mana regen spam - even then i find that stonefist may be better, lower cooldown and spirit damage (totalling 1000% spirit damage over 2 casts in 16 seconds - as well as causing weakness, increased damage from weakness AND mana regen from weakness!) instead of 792% weapon damage of energy barrage not counting in magic resistance

Energy barrage should have very high proc chances on masterwork "on hit" effects. I wonder if anyone has tried such build. Theoretically can be quite crazy depending on the effect.

Actually I completed my NM mage necro with this combo. On a new play through atm.
With winter stillness and +10 max mana + ring that increased static cage duration my combo was:
Static cage + elemental barrage x2
It completely destroys everything, even on nightmare. That was without masterwork of notice. With hidden blades or chain lightning proc? Even better I'd assume.
