tl;dr  turn off Share Usage Data,   pick map,   don't use Random

I noticed if i did a random Quick Match, i would get the above error every time...  If i search for a specific destination/map, i would connect, and stay connected every time.

Admittedly i've had only a handful of matches as a sample size, but might be a possible fix if the Random option is causing a glitch somehow?

(note this is for PS4 in UK)

EDIT:  another thing to try, is go into main menu -> options -> turn off (uncheck) Share Usage Data

Similarly for ME3MP on the PS3, the data sharing to EA seemed to make things less stable.

EDIT 2:  so after more experimenting with some friends;  yes this seems to help with Quick Matches.  We all had problems with Random, and picking maps helps get a quick match lobby.

This however does not seem to help with Private matches / lobbies.

We rotated the host, and tried to connect multiple times, and different ways (in-game invite, PS4 party lobby , friends list), and were getting a few different connection error messages.

At best someone would just "join" and instantly disconnect the host.

Another connection issue would see someone try to join, fail, go back to their multiplayer screen, then the game would automatically try to reconnect to the host again.  repeat.

Turning off Share Usage Data seems to help  with some of these, or at least gives different  errors.

this is just so frustrating, I have had a total of 4 games or so, out of 200+ tries :P

I can't be bothered with it, one reason why im happy I got the PC version too haha

Yup, getting this error A LOT.

Sometimes selecting a specific map will help, other times not.

Bioware seriously need to look at this. Pretty much unplayable at times.

Backing out of multiplayer to the main menu usually solves it for me.

I got the game Tuesday, and have been sort of up and down with Multiplayer. Some times I can connect, sometimes not. It's really been a coinflip. But since last night, it's been 100% "Error, You have lost your connection to the session." messages. Which really sucks because I've been having fun with the MP when I can actually play it.

I tweeted to @dragonage about it on Twitter and got instructions for disabling UPnP and Port Forwarding, but those haven't helped either. I'm not really sure what to do or if it'll be fixed. :(

Yeah, exactly the same for me Sneaky Monkey. Have not been able to connect over the last 16 hours now.

The first thing I did before playing DAMP was to turn off all feedback options. That's not the cause nor (partial) resolution to the problem. It happens when you consistently switch lobbies. The game doesn't properly flush previous sessions or there's a problem with the return-to behavior.

I had the exact some problem with ME3MP. I've been playing GTAO for roughly the same amount of time as ME3MP and don't have the same constant disconnecting issues. Changing the router settings and deleting the game cache doesn't fix these problems. It's the game.

Maybe it's just because it was quite a while ago, but I don't remember ever having this much trouble playing ME3 MP. I had that on 360. (I have DAI on PS4)

I tried disabling the Share Usage Data option, but I still have those same problems.

This is how i temporarly fix it:

- Close the game

- Close Origin

- Start Origin

- Start the game

If it starts to happen again i have to do this again.

Kept getting this on the One last night. Restarting the console and game seemed to fix the issue for me

I have had it happen on the first search.
