is it ANY cc?

is it only cc that prevents attacking?

we've got stun, freeze, chill, panic, paralyze, and ...im probably missing something.

im interested in setting up my own detonation combos and i know that templar can set up his own by using stun-->wrath of heaven but im also curious (and cannot test this without leveling and assigning skill points) if i can set up my own combos with elementalist. something like panic-->energy barrage.

if anyone has tested what all counts as incapacitated, i'd love to know.

According to the Strategy Guide, there are many effects, but only 4 that can be detonated.  Stun, Sleep, Freeze & Paralyze which are generally produced by Fighters, Rogues, Mages & Mages respectively.  Each class also has a specific type of detonator, Impact, Precision & Eldritch.  According to the guide in class combos produce lesser results than mixed class ones.  However, there are a few abilities that produce effects generally associated with other classes, Stone Fist (mage) produces an Impact Detonation that should be more effective against Freeze than Eldritch detonators.  Likewise the Paladin has Spell Purge that makes an Eldritch detonation that should be better against stun than the Impact detonators Fighters generally have.    This is untested but will try a couple of these tonight.

Trust me, once you have downed 500 mL of vodka in 20 minutes you would know what incapacitated mean...

The best source I found so far is an entry in the codex (SP) about status effects and what they do.

"Really sick" was not in the list of those status effects.
