I only slightly checked around for a similar thread, but....... anyone else notice that apparently I have to have sunken cheeks with facial hair? Is there any way around this? or do men with facial hair in this world only grow sickly thin?

First person to respond to my own thread, but I'll still have to mess with it a little. However, it seems like this might be a problem if you change your face and then use the ARROWS for beard selection... If you click in the general area along the slider, it might avoid the sunken cheeks

That we have to click on the slider and not use the arrows is a frustrating work-around. I hope this gets addressed in a patch.

I was about to make a thread about this. It is EXTREMELY annoying to spend time getting rid of sunken cheeks, nonexistent chin, etc. -- only to have that work disappear upon using the beard slider. It would not matter so much if the default was not ridiculously sunken cheeks!

Agreed, this is a rly irritating problem. Should be addressed in some sort of patch as lazuli said.

I have worked around this by adjusting width of the jaw and chin and cheeks. But some face presets seem to be predisposed to this and I haven't been able to fix all the faces. I wanted to make a male warrior with a face more like Alistair's - rounder - but it took me a very long time.

1. Pick your desired beard; remember it's exact position on the slider. Adjust it's color.
2. Remove the beard.
3. Adjust every single features of your character(minus the beard).
4. Once your character is completed, click on the specific position of the desired beard on the slider.
Do not touch any other slider from here on out. Your character is finished and your bone structure will remain intact. By following these steps, you will be able to obtain similar looks to this:

Fuller face, not boney or shallow.
