It is really jarring that a male elf Inquisitor runs around the entire game with broken arms. Well, either that or he's a mutant. Whatever the case, it can't be healthy and the arms won't be able to perform many of the strenuous motions that arms are supposed to.

Surely this is a bug in the model and not intended. The female elf Inquisitor has even thinner arms, but as they are not deformed and appear to behave like human arms, the female elf Inquistor doesn't exude the constant aura of wrongness that the male elf does. The male elven companion doesn't have deformed arms either.

Yes, please. This bug is highly intrusive and gameplay/RPG breaking. Solas looks like a divine being in comparison

I could not agree with you more. This is not a bug that can be overlooked and simply dismissed as the second hand issue that will be fixed somewhere in the 'future'. There are many elf players who can not stand this obviously disfigured appearance

I don't want to feel like this:

I hope this really is a bug, would be great if a dev could confirm that :), as I might be willing to try out a male elf if I knew it was going to get fixed soon. It looks stupid and really undermines the character, especially considering that Solas looks great.

Yes, please fix this! I was looking for a report like this since I thought I was the only one with the feeling that there's something wrong with the arms or male elves. It looks even worse when you play as a warrior wearing heavy armor with arm protection. Tue first time I'm playing an elve in DA and it's very disturbing!

God yes, please fix this! Currently, my elf inquisitor is running around in the DLC armor I got because of the arm widening shoulder-pads. Even if there is better defense armor...those broken arms are terrible.

I was so happy to get to play an elf again, I'm so jealous of Solas for having a decent modeled body. Bioware, please fix this. (or let us having a modding kit so the modders can fix it)

Yes please adjust. I can never take my guy seriously during skyhold scenes because of this, and the giant head that the casual clothes there makes u have. I get that elves are supposed to be slimmer but come on the undead NPCs look healthier.

To answer your title OP; Bad news, Bioware has removed healing in this game. It is a design decision not a bug...

Ugh...not a design choice that I'm currently enjoying. (I want my healers back so badly. I so would have won that dragon fight if I wasn't relying on only 8 potions to maintain my ENTIRE party)

On a side note, I feel like my Dalish male spent his life in a tiny cage under one of the caravans. xD

Yes, with a little help of fade I hope to get my amrs back to the norm. Here is a quite bigger thread on this issue: http://forum.bioware...-its-problems/ . Unfortunately it might look like BioWare quickly forgot about us, broken elves. I would like to hear it will be fixed in the upcoming big patch.

Well, you know. He popped in, showed us a pick after only playing an elf for five minutes, and declared the matter settled. So yeah....

It would be nice to get some more chat time in with a Bioware person, who acknowledge our reports and images on this situation. <_<

Well yes, Mister Allan Schumacher also asked us about its occurance(vejita's syndrome: broken arms, rubbing ribs), but I fully agree with you. I would like it too, confirmation of the bug and announcement of impending fix.

At least an acknowledgement of its existance made known would be nice. With that one post, it felt like he was calling us crazy. Not even sure if he continued to read afterward and see your posts highlight the issue for him.

I agree. Unfortunately, but I share your suspicion. Mister Schumacher did not show up in our thread after his initial posts. There was no commentary from him about the few screenshots I have prepared  after he asked about armours.

I guess all we can do is wait for the patch and pray? Or stalk the modding discussion thread and pray they figure out how to crack frostbite's engine.

Yes, lets all tell Bioware to fix this straight away, nevermind those whos games are broken and wont work at all. The immersion of those who can play is much more important than those who spent money on a game just for it to not work. Go on Bioware, focus all your efforts into things like this, leave those people who are content with simply getting to play in the dust, you don't need them. (Sarcasm, if it wasn't already obvious)

Do you feel better about yourself, now? :)

Now scuttle along. *makes shooing motions*
