Maybe he just has manly cannonball sized shoulder muscles.
Suggestion: Heal the male elf PC's broken arms in next patch

Hmm...I'd say broken rigging in the male elf pc and companion pc's arms is a very noticcable thing. Specially over 50+ hours of gaming. You'd really have to be blind to NOT notice it. ![]()

Huh? How does that have anything to do with arm rigging that snaps to the chest and sucks the arms into the body?
I think people are starting to just post rather then read the information presented in the topic from start to finish. ![]()

They certainly should be looking at some of the models, a friend of mine over in America got to the Sera scene before I even has the game, and was telling me how Sera was tilting her neck weirdly and fell through the floor instead of just falling off the bed, there are some strange character model things going on indeed. That said, I cant help but feel the Maleelf arms are a bad design choice a not a bug.

The skinniness is...not the arm snapping...

The Dalish do like their nature, my guess is that he lost his arms long ago and replaced them with oddly colored twigs.

*dies laughing* That's almost as good a headcanon as my "Iron Bull got frisky over ale one night and one bear hug later...bam...deformed for life" headcanon.

If they ever make dlc of the backstories of the companions like they did for Leliana in Origins, this needs to be Bulls. They should do it like that one Skyrim quest in which you wake up after a night of getting drunk with amnesia, and have to work your way round fixing the messes you made.

All the funny back stories, human non mage: "Did I ever tell you about that one noble...." Dalish male elf: "Did I ever tell you when I lost my arms?" different stories for different races. They share the stories over a drunken game of wicked grace.

.........can this be a thing?? Fanfic writers, get on this!!!
Wait..that's why the arms bent so badly. He lost his arms in a horrible aravel accident, replaced them with oddly colored twigs, and then Iron Bull snapped those when he hugged them. It all comes together...

The elf has it better than dwarf inquisitor, Iron Bull would break his spine.

Because if you look at the pictures the shoulder sticks way out in comparison to the bicep. "Upper arm curves in, rather than out" says it right in the pictures. Next time maybe YOU should read the starting posts. Its right in the first post, which is the one I was referencing, not the later pictures where the arms clearly clip in to the body.

This or that way. One thing is clear, it is bugged and disgusting in the result of it.

No need to be an ass. I see what you mean now. At the time, you're sentence didn't make a lot of sense.
However, the shoulder is still to close to the body, which in the sense of rigging is what is causing the arms to snap to the chest and sink into the body.

Another day ends in an hour. Waiting for this patch-fix is quite draining. It might not be the most appriopriate, but here is a link to still vigorously active thread about the broken-glued arms issue: http://forum.bioware...d-its-problems/. There you will find many examples of the bugs, possible solution and extra stuff.

Yes, with a little help of fade I hope to get my amrs back to the norm. Here is a quite bigger thread on this issue: http://forum.bioware...-its-problems/ . Unfortunately it might look like BioWare quickly forgot about us, broken elves. I would like to hear it will be fixed in the upcoming big patch.
I think you misunderstood me. I fully support having the male elf fixed and I am appalled at the way BioWare is even denying it. Just one look at Solas' and Abelas' models tells you there is something severely wrong here, and I'm not just talking about the arms.
I was simply laughing at the way you put it. ![]()

Yes I thought that you were reffering to his *elevated* status. I don't think that they are denying it at this point, or maybe I have missed some BW posts. Tomorrow we will learn about BioWare's true intentions, integrity and dedication to fixing-working on their game. You should visit the threadt you have in quoted message of mine, in fact, here, a gift: http://forum.bioware...d-its-problems/. Plenty of new posts illustrating mentioned bugs. How could it get through testing/QA is beyond me.

Agreed I wanted so badly to play as an Elf in this game but currently can't. The anorexic body of male elves is really unhealty and simply cannot deal with it. The funny thing is that Solas has a normal body and he is an elf?? Lore doesn't count for him? Please give Solas body to the male elf otherwise..I really cannot play with them which is a pity since I was really looking forward to play as a Dalish.

Unfortunately,w hen Solas puts PC clothes on then he also gets few fractures. Today, Bioware has a chance to redeem themselves by including fix for elves in the patch 2. Can't wait to see results!
