I've lost my last two characters to crashes during the series of cutscenes before you gain control of your character. It's bad enough to have to go through them over and over, but having to redo character creation as a result of DX issues is just maddening. An autosave at the completion of character creation would be a help.
Suggestion: Add an opportunity to save immediately after character creation

I only had that happen once, but yes, 100% agree. Extremely frustrating. I assumed it did that, sort of like y'know, Skyrim...

I've spent almost the entire day trying to get passed the character creator due to the game freezing during the cutscenes directly following the creator. Needless to say It's soured the start of the game for me a bit. Although I guess that was bad luck for me to have those freezes during those cutscenes. Whereas the Freezing itself is more my issue i guess. It happens often, and only in cutscenes, and it freezes so severely that I cannot even open the task manager or alt-tab to desktop. The only way i can fix it is to manually restart my PC. sucks
