Here was me hoping for a story that could eventually, not end with suicidal despair....

Again, it´s Mr. Gaider; not a fan of pink stories. He has said several times (and demonstrated it) that he likes tragic ends.

I also think that he, nor any other righter wants a permanent "Nietzsche approved" tag on their pens, so who knows, this time Morrigan may end up in a brighter note.

BTW, we have had options with Hawke, and if the warden survived he´s on a mission to get the anti-blight pills, so that may be next...

On the part of Bioware not being able to afford Kate Mulgrew or wanting to pay her fees; well guys, we´re talking about the studio that put Martin Sheen on a main character. A couple dozen lines per game are not that much, not even close.

I swear to solas(I worship him now it's a new cult I invented) they better put my grey warden in the next game. I don't care what they are doing anti blight pills or no, I just want to see them. I really hope that the inqusitor, warden, and Hawke band together to stop the big bad, whoever that might be.

Spoiler

How exactly does a character become bound to another beings will just because they drank from a pool? That sounds like some complete BS going on here.

it wasn't just a pool. It was a magical pool filled with the will and knowledge of all of Mythal's servants. This means eventually your/morrigans knowledge will be added to the pool when the next person uses it, unless they can't. Not sure whether it can be used again.

So it was a pool filled with the same stuff as Dumbledore's pool. "filled with the will and knowledge of all of Mythal's servants" what does that even mean? Or does it really mean nothing and it was just the writer's way of ensuring that there was no happy ending just because the writer hates happy endings?

This also seems to function completely contradictory to how the rest of the magic in Thedas works, suggesting that it really is complete BS.

ehhhh it makes since to me, just hard to explain. Its like when you use blood magic you make a deal with a demon, you drink Mythals well water and you make a deal with her. How does it controdict magic In Thedas?

I´m quite with you on that.

Flemeth has turned out to be a Level 10000 abomination; something similar to what Cole or Anders may be if they survived for centuries. I don´t see how you get bound to a spirit, no matter how powerful it is, drinking something.

Blood magic in principle uses blood instead of lyrium to boost the effects. Summoning deamons is optional.

You'll never see your Inquisitor or Warden in an environment where you are not controlling them.

They are extremely player-centric characters, they can have a different personality and different background according to the player, as opposed to Hawke who is his own character with a player imput.

Hawke only having 3 defined personality probably helped.

this is why bioware should ask people in the next game, was your inquisitor/warden positive humourous or agrressive whatever the personalities are. Idc if it takes Bioware 10 years to make a game where it is possible, I would wait.
maybe if they did a Dragon Age Origins remastered with your warden voiced and personality choices, and of course new quests and such, it wouldnt be a problem.

It appears to mean what it says, it infodumps alot of memories into the mind of whoever drinks from it.

if i remember right it said forever. The game kinda lied huh, i mean we seen the dread wolf was in the prison dying from red lyuim in a year's future but no he was the dread wolf all along and the one who caused all the problems also.

ON the topic they said he serve by her side forever. i mean the people in the temple lived forever so. immortally he have. I couldn't give that up, was hoping my char could become god too.

Why is this a sticking point for people?  They pretty explicitly refer to the knowledge coming with a cost.  It is the collected knowledge of servants of Mythal (which presumably involves some way of magically trapping some aspect of the people who contributed to the Well of Sorrows).  In the cutscene it looks like by drinking you get binding runes put through out your body (this doesn't contradict magic as we've seen people put in magical cages), and when Flemeth/Mythal controls you, the runes reappear on your skin.

It's like... more plausible than an Eluvian.

nope, a least this is my take, when the inquis dies, his memories will return to the well (along with everyone elses) and info dump into the next guy who drinks.

I don't have a problem with it, ancient elven magic ahs been stated and shown through out the series to be flat out better than anyone has managed since,

This is another example

I had a feeling that something bad would happen so i drank it myself. I didn't want to risk something bad happening to Morrigan because of Kieran.
