So, I've been at this for so long, I feel like I may have glitched something up.

 

I found two of the 3 tokens.  One I found in the Flats (a dwarf had it), and honestly I don't know where I found the other one.  I believe it was on the East Side Hills - because I had it before I drained the lake, and that's the only place above sea level the journal tells you to go.  Not to mention, it's the only place of the 3 that is still spawning bandits.

 

So I've been roaming around the Black Fens for a while now.  People keep spawning.  I keep killing them.  None of them have dropped the last token, though.  At least - I don't know if any have.  I've realized even with the ability to highlight anything that can be interacted with, it is really hard to pick out loot at times.  There have been a couple pouches that I kept overlooking; and every now and then I'll find one of them probably 15 minutes after having killed the person.

 

Anyway, because of this I'm worried it's possible the last token dropped, and I've just been unable to find it.  It's a large area, so I have no idea where to start looking.

 

I was pretty committed to getting my Assassin specialization before I went and helped out Hawke and Alistair - but now idk.  Anyone have any advice?

 

For the record - the bandits that keep spawning - all of them human males.  And they tend to spawn in a group consisting of either 2 shielded bandits and one dual wield rogue; or 2 shielded bandits and one archer.  Once in a while I'm thrown a group of 2 archers and one dual wielder.

 

I have no idea if there's supposed to be a specific group I should be looking for - or if it's supposed to just spawn on a random bandit.

It's specific groups. I'm having issue with this quest as well (I can't find the dwarf) the one in Black Fens is near where the dragon is, there's a landmark and quarry in the area too.

The dwarf appeared for me right at the outskirts of the Flats.  I was just sort of standing there, wondering where to look and all of a sudden him and another spawned nearby.  That's kind of why I feel like I'm glitched up somehow - it didn't take the game long at all to spawn the dwarf when I was in the flats, but this one in the Fens is taking forever.  0o

 

As for the Quarry - it's funny, because out of all the places the bandits have spawned, none of them have spawned over there.  They've either been out in the middle of the field (literally right in front of the dragon) or somewhere along the path leading up the hill.  Even though the path leads straight down to the quarry, none of the bandits have spawned anywhere near it.  They've always been much further up the hill.

 

Maybe I killed someone over there and I just missed the loot - I'll give it another check.  :\

For everyone having trouble with this one:

 

I found a third one finally, in the western approaches doing the "Sharper Claws" quest. There's a guy who gives you a quest line about baiting high dragons in the south end of the region and after you do a few quests for him he gives you one to go dismantle traps. That's when I got my last assassin's token. So there are more than those three in Crestwood at least.

Do you know if that's the only other one? Or are there even more? Because I also can't find the one in the black fens and is really ruining the gameplay experience just running back and forth in the same area trying to find some bandit that doesn't even seem to exist...

I went to sleep after finding that third one, but try any quest that involves bandits.

I found a token on a Carta assassin in the... it's in the cave behind the waterfall in the Hinterlands, I think the quest was Deep Waters ... I am now scouring Crestwood for the next two, thinking I may look around the Fens as a last resort.

 

I can't seem to find any deathroot either, anyone know where I go for that?

There's a shop in Crestwood village, I believe it was, that sells deathroot.  When I saw that I just started spamming the "A" button - I might have around 40 now  lol   But yeah, I couldn't find any either for the longest time.

 

Edit:  hmm... I just went to the Hinterlands and did the Deep Trouble quest.  Killed the Carta leader there, but no token.  I'm wondering if it's because the bandit I killed in the flats was a Carta dwarf, so I have to find whichever bandit group the person at the Quarry is supposed to belong to in order to get the last token.  :/  Anyone know?  And would anyone know which quest to do in order to find them?

Still haven't gotten the third token, even after doing both mentioned missions...i reply hope i don't have to restart the game...

I don't think restarting the game will really do anything - it seems to be giving a lot of people difficulty across the board, with all of the specializations.

 

Which of the 2 tokens did you get already?  I know the one in the flats is found on a Carta dwarf; do you happen to remember where the other one was/what kind of bandit you found it on?

Check your PMs. I've sent something that should help you find it. I'd rather not put it up here on the thread for reasons that will become obvious when you check. You guys are making a wise choice though. I'm getting an obscene level of damage by spamming Stealth before using my powers. I'm instantly destroying nearly every enemy I come across, outside of the more elite ones obviously.

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Either this is a major bug or I'm an idiot. Are the assassin weapon drops random? Because I've killed like 4 assassin's with the title "leader" and i only have two of the assassin weapons to show for it. I'm now level 15 and this is getting a little ridiculous.

Seems like the game glitched for me as well. Found 2 tokens (Hills and Fens) but the Carta dude just doesn't spawn. I keep looking everywhere around the Astrarium but he's just not there

Any advice?

I just got a fourth weapon assassin from a group wandering around the Exalted Plains on my way from the Western Ramparts to the Eastern Ramparts.

seriously cannot fine the dam east hills one and i know my game aint bugged cuz i after i drained everything i still can't fine that guy. some one post a pic or a really good directions to get there cuz I'm just wondering around without a cue (

Argh this is killing me, I'm already lvl 14 and still searching for the last crest. I've done both the Hinterlands and the Western Aproach areas mentioned above and still no luck. Gonna try the Exalted Plains again.

Hm, I was just wondering, but would it be possible to edit the number of assassin tokens you have with cheat engine?

-.- i don't know how much more of this i can take. I want to keep paying the game instead of walking on every inch of every map searching for the damn assassin leader that will actually drop the last weapon

The Carta one spawned for me in the Hinterlands at the waterfall with the locked door behind it.
