I don't think I've had a single match that didn't have a player like this, if I did I can probably count them on one hand.  That one guy who is just CONSTANTLY running way ahead of everyone else, skipping vases, skipping treasure rooms, completely ignoring the golden nug (probably doesn't even know what it is), opens the door to the next area WHEN YOU ARE FIGHTING A GUARDIAN INSIDE A TREASURE ROOM, triggers the scrolls/weapons/supplies mission and then runs into a treasure room so the timer counts down before anybody can grab it, doesn't seem to understand what it means when the 3 other party members are inside the font room for the boss fight SPAMMING the "regroup" command OVER AND OVER, doesn't realize that he is alone against a horde of enemies when the rest of their team is in one spot.

I know every game has it's poor players and its probably in no way the fault of the dragon age community at large but jesus ****ing christ it is ASTOUNDING the ignorance of A LOT of players in this game.  Even when I'm on the mic telling them to stay in this room or don't open the door because we're in a treasure room, they ignore it and continue doing what they are doing.  So goddamn annoying.  There needs to be a visible notification that a player has been voted to be kicked, that way the rest of the party can take notice and follow suit.

I agree about the notification for vote kick.  There needs to be an actual prompt requiring the other players to vote because a lot of people don't even know you CAN vote kick/how to do it.  I also have noticed TONS of players join game then just stand at entrance collecting gold and xp, and unless your other players know how to kick then you're screwed.  I've had 2 players stand at entrance a number of times which means a kick wouldn't even be possible, and I've had 3 players stand afk at entrance before twice.  Hilarious.  You should stop gaining xp and gold after 1 minute of not doing any damage, and be auto kicked from the game after 5 minutes.

There is a big chance that those people were stuck in the black loading screen.

It's like that in 90% of the games I've played so far.  A literal race for some unknown reason.  I don;t think these players are often trying to ruin a game they are just bad players.  When i play my keeper I can't keep up to keep them stock with barriers.  Can't get my trap setters up there to soften the other team.  It's simply terrible play to be a tank that runs off at full speed.

There's a bug that happens at times where you load in you can see everything that going on but you cant move (you can still use skills and attack).

I have a friend who told me that he played with the guy that's ranked 4th on the leaderboards right now on the easy casual setting and he kept running forward forcing them all past the treasure rooms and golden pots that said if my friend wanted gold he should go play a harder difficulty when he messaged him to ask him politely to stop running forward. WOW.

Voice chat doesn't work for me. You could yell all you want - I wouldn't hear it.

For me it's always archers haha. They run in a room figuring they have range on their side. Get killed by ranged attacks and whine when we don't save. Not all archers mind you. But the class I see the most.

Welcome to the internet, the greatest social experiment of our time.  Now we are forced to come face to face with how utterly stupid the human race truly is

Not saying that I approve of his behaviour, but he was probably interested in getting to level 5 in one very quick routine game, so he could go to threatening to level up further and promote.

>CONSTANTLY running way ahead of everyone else

There is nothing inherently wrong with running ahead of everyone else.

>skipping vases

You don't need a 4 man group to break vases.

>skipping treasure rooms

Is he the only person who can open?  Then ok this is not good.  If not, then meh.  Most treasure rooms are just vases and a chest, something that does not require the 4 man team.

>ompletely ignoring the golden nug

You definitely don't need a 4 man team to kill the golden nug.  I can solo it with basically every class I play.  You just have to hit it before it bursts into high speed mode.  If the team fails to do so, actually having someone way ahead to catch it is a good thing.

Really you sound like a bit of a hothead, and you are almost certainly exaggerating.  I have been playing multiplayer extensively since release, and not once have I encountered an individual as bad as you described.  Also missing a treasure room isn't a big deal.  If you are in it for xp, skipping treasure rooms is actually most efficient.  And if the person running ahead is capable of staying alive, who cares?  Take your time, loot the vases, loot the chests.  All gold and xp is split at the end anyway.

Also keep in mind the game hasn't even been out for a week.  We are all noobs still.  Try to be understanding.

You could always add friends with similar playstyles to your own and then stick to private games if pugs are too much for you to handle.

Or....you could be playing with my 8 or 6 year old kids. Sorry, but I'm sure this happens more often than you'd expect.
