I've walked the parched sands and dark caves for hours. All other quests are completed except awaiting additional chards on other maps to open up the remaining doors in the Solasan Temple.

I give up. Help please. Where can I find the key to open up the locked gate in the Par'as Cavern?

You find a miner roaming around the region. She'll give you a quest to go to the cave and get some ring. When you give her the ring, she gives the key as a reward.

 

I found the miner fairly near to the first camp climbing up and down a small ladder from the bottom.

Thank-you. I think I ran out of luggage space and dumped the ring.

There better be something good in that cave, i got the ring about 2hrs ago and now that i need to find the miner she is nowhere to be seen but no no before she would be walking past me numerous times. I'm getting really pi$$ed off!

Just a question. How do you keep the spiders from respawning? They are so many in there and  they keep coming.

FreshRevenge, you can fight a few, then go heal. (Rinse and repeat) That makes it quite a bit easier.

okay I just got the loot. It was nervewracking because they kept spitting acid at me and I was running around. I got my mage to unlock the wall of flames which is useful

Where did you encounter that miner? I spent an aweful lot of time in the Oasis getting all the shards and stuff, running in circles. I never ever met her.

Just a question. How do you keep the spiders from respawning? They are so many in there and  they keep coming.

 

there are four torches on the pillars in the cave where the locked door is. Light em as the miner suggested to keep the spiders at bay ...or at the very least not have so many spawn. Personally I liked the challenge of so many seeing as they drop requisition quest items

I can sympathize. I met her 3 times when I didn't really need her(beyond the 1st meeting and the quest) and now I can't find her anywhere lol grrrrrrrrr

Sometimes you need to leave the area and return (she usually spawns around the second camp each time you enter the area).

Her patrol covers the entire canyon, and she can often end up in an unreachable area (she seems to get out of bounds somehow) if you take too long to find her.
