Where can I find wisp essences? I have killed so wisps but they aren't dropping any. I only need one more and its starting to feel like I will beat the game before I get this specialization >_>

I had the same problem... Have been running around the mire for 3 4 hours and haven't gotten the 3rd one? I know that you are suppose to get them from pure wisp, but I can't find the 3rd one

Try finding the landmark in the southeast section of the map; a pure wisp is there.

I got all of my wisp essences from wraiths at various rifts before I even entered Fallow Mire.

Good luck. I'm level 18, finally gave up on ever finding the last wisp.

Thank you.  That did it for me.  Fast traveled to the last beacon and just headed off SE direction.  Stumbled on a group of wisps and the landmark.

I got the one by the windmill for sure, and I have a second (no idea where that one came from, was playing drunk and didn't even remember finishing the area quest line). Guessing the last one I'm looking for is at the Weeping Spires?

 

Edit: Found it, for anyone having trouble Wisps are near the landmarks.

I only have 2 wisp essense and i have went to all 3 points in the map mulitple times (i have already completed missions in area before) i cant find anything but fire and spirit essense in other regions... its frustrating trying to find a piece a loot that i dont know where to find? please help someone?

 

All i need to get the specialization is one more wisp essense... I cant find it anywhere in the fallow mires and i also have taken down many of the rifts in the other regions hoping for a pure wisp to drop one with no avial... not sure what to do because ive already completed all of the fallow mires missions and im level 17... still lost trying to find one more wisp essense

I think they'll come off other wisps in other areas, not just Fallow Mire. 

 

I had this problem because I had a bunch of wisp essences, but sold them. At the time I had about 10, so you CAN find them elsewhere. Just close rifts all over the place, usually in the lower level areas-Hinterlands, Storm Coast, Fallow Mires, maybe Crestwood.

 

I ended up back tracking and loading an early save to do it, but since I had more than three to begin with, you know they're out there.

The pure wisps in Fallow mire. Not all of them jsut the few that are harder to kill drop them. Also get one every time in Hinterlands off the farm rift in the river. I get those easily, just do the hinterlands rift and rescue soldiers in the mire and, i have them.

what if i have already completed those missions earlier? i sold a couple wisp essensce early on in the game... any way to buy them? i have already completed the rifts and the missions in the fallow mire?
