I hopped my way to the top of the center spire and.. nothing. What may appear to be maybe a mosaic is just the root of the tree branch not hidden. You can go back towards the front of the area and you just hit a bunch of walls. Tired, might play around some more tomorrow and see if I can find anything.

I have all the mosaic collections completed but this one. It took me some serious digging online to find guides to all of the other pieces, but none of them are bugged, some are just very well hidden. The ones in the Hinterlands appear to be the only two that are not in any sort of logical place. But at least one is attainable.

In the Western Approach, try looking here: http://game-maps.com...rn-Approach.asp. The two at location 35 are in a cave behind a rock. You do not need to lure the dragon in and kill it first (although this does apparently open the cave for some people - it didn't for me). Take a warrior with Grappling Chain and use the ability in the gap between the left side of the rock and the cave opening. It will destroy the rock and you can enter. All of the other mosaic pieces are pretty much where they are indicated on the map. Hopefully this helps.

Yep. I've found all 12 from Western Approach. "Archdemon", as I remember. But.. one piece at Skyhold still isn't showing.

Yeah iv been using game-maps, thats why im frustrated with Western Approach as i collected the two in the cave after i killed the dragon. And been to every other spot several times (including the two in "dungeons"), and nothing. Its like the two im missing just up and vanished when i left the map, or it just didnt register i collected them. I dunno what else to do.

I've took to the habit of saving before I pick them up just in case it doesn't register

Sorry I couldn't be more help. As far as I remember, and my memory's not what it used to be, any of the puzzle pieces on the map that have a white arrow pointing at them from a cave entrance are underground. I think there were more than two that were in "dungeons".

Same for me.

Exactly, I've completed the Archdemon mosaic, but in Skyhold there's one piece missing. It upsets me the fact that Bioware seems to not care about the fact that collectibles have a lot of bugs and problems, since some of the most passionate players for their game are actually us who want to complete everything.

I finished Western Approach as well. The one I missed was 22 (according to the map at game-maps) in the well under the outpost. It's behind a rock so I just assumed it was a piece of onyx or something when I first ran in there.

No one has found the 12th piece yet? Not surprised, considering how obscure the last piece is. Heck, the last piece of the cave looks to be an unfinished area.

now on 11/12 for Hinterlands, seriously this last piece, you'd think Bioware would be nice enough and tell us were it is D:

Same here.
I think 11 is glitched and should be in the cave not on top of it. Especially since you have to half bug yourself up there :-(
12 is buggy for sure... Someone would have found it by now if it were to be found...
Maybe in a future update... :-/

Yeah it does seem likely that two pieces should have been inside the veilfire cave

Being the guy who found piece 11 (or at least was the first to share its location), I have to agree it's bugged. The "building" next to it is definitely the exterior of the dungeon walls. And if you step off the edge, as I did to just see what was underneath, you'll find that it's an area with nothing - no real lighting, no features except the occasional wall, nothing on the flat ground but grass, no exits. It's definitely not supposed to be where it is and I'm sure you're not supposed to be able to get into the non-space beneath the dungeon.

BTW, I tried walking from there to the assumed missing piece in Wolf Hollow in the bugged space underground to see if the mosaic piece there ended up in the under-plane we probably weren't supposed to have access to, but can't find a way to get there. Walls and resets keep either blocking me or sending me back to the surface.

Also, as mentioned in one of my previous posts, there is a way through the invisible walls around the top of Wolf Hollow if you dismount through them in the right place (just above where I went up to the top level after squeezing your mount as close as possible to the invisible wall) and there was nothing I could find there either, or around the edges of most of the map.

It's getting to point where I don't think piece 12 is actually accessible, which is a pain-in-the-neck because all the other pieces for every other mosaic are (even if they don't all show up on the walls in Skyhold.)

Then the irony kicks in that they simply forgot to set the last piece to spawn and turns out its in a really obvious place, the area around the dragon's nest seems like an ideal place for it to be lurking just to really rub salt into the wound

the prima map doesn't point the the center spire it shows the are between the two caves almost half way which would point more to the hills beyond there looks to be a path up but its mostly just walls.

Just to let everyone know, here is the route I took to get outside of the invisible walls around the top of Wolf Hollow. Now, I will point out that this took me a whole lot of tries. The opening that you can dismount through seems to be pretty small. It does work though. I'd love to have other people wandering around up here checking for the mosaic piece as well. (These images continue from my previous post about how to get up here, http://forum.bioware...ds/?p=18003516)

The map of the route I took around the Western edge of the map is at http://forum.bioware...nds/?p=18040486

Please, someone else climb up here and look around.

I've done my best to place my map marker in the place shown on the Prima map (http://i.imgur.com/tY0YQyQ.jpg). While standing above Wolf Hollow, that placement lands squarely on top of the column in the centre of the hollow.

This seriously makes me think we can't get to it. I know others say they have gotten on top of the centre column (and I've been close myself), so I don't think it's there.

Where else could it be?

Here is a thought... Calla ad has actually 3 floors... what if it's there and it unlocks much later to go there or you need to complete a certain quest before it happens?

While it's true that there is a certain quest that unlocks a previously unpickable locked door in Valammar, I've finished that quest and explored the entirety of Valammar (that is, the parts accessible through normal exploration, all quests done) with no luck. Others here have more experience and skill at searching out-of-bounds and glitching through walls/floors/etc., so perhaps they'll find it that way, but at the least I think we've managed to establish that it's badly bugged no matter where it actually is.

FWIW, I do think it's in the main area of the Hinterlands somewhere and not in a discrete dungeon (i.e. a sub-area separated by a loading screen).

Sparrow if you keep heading down the line of pillars in your last pic then hop right at the one that juts out slightly and immediately turn back into the center and jump you can hop up there. I went to take a screenshot when I made it up and scrolled out too far, reset myself back to the bottom and was too angry to get back up. The way I'm getting up is from this point:

dEvz2Jd.png

Carefully jump up from here, catching this edge can be temperamental:

Bsbvomn.png

Then up the left and on the left side of this part and up, you'll be above the den:

4ISgog1.png

To actually get to the center, skirt around the top of the cliff towards the back of the den and jump down before the open space (which is all wall blocked).

All that said, I'm off to see if there's any access points to the top around the mage cave I didn't notice. In theory, the puzzle piece could be resting over the back of it on the guide and it could be bugged from there?

^ Thanks Sarine. I've been up on top of the cliffs surrounding Wolf Hollow a bunch of times and even posted how to get through the invisible walls to get pretty much anywhere around the Western and Southern edges of the board (including into the tower in Grand Forest Villa that's missing a ladder). I just haven't made it to the top of the centre pillar in Wolf Hollow. The picture I posted is actually from halfway up the centre pillar. I could just never make it to the top without being reset to the bottom. I'll give your suggestion a try. Thanks.

Hi guys, I'm on my second run and just got the mosaic piece in the locked cabin east of Tyrdda's Lover. This piece is for Freed Are Slaves. There is a note about Tevinter Slaves on the desk. I was 9/12 when I got this piece, still 9/12 after and now 2/12 for Freed.

Well it may not be bugged. I think Prima forgot to place the last one on the map as they thought that the Slaves one was for The Fall... Or another one is again very close by one so they overlap even more than the ones up at NW.
