When I check the map I noticed there are three levels to this area, however only two can be explored. Is there a third one or are all Draven areas designed with three?

One of the "levels" is just part of the entrance ramp you enter the dungeon on.

Actually the lowest level is found by climbing down on several ladders which leads to a small ledge with some loot. Since there is no zoom available in maps with more than 1 level, and the map doesn't center on your character / party in multilevel maps either, you will have to pan around in map to find it.

Valammar also has an area that can only be accessed during Varric's companion quest (the one with Bianca). I don't know if it counts as another level, though.

A few people have mention a glitch that allows you to enter a stone dorm blocking off the third level. You have to position your character right by the stone wall next to the wooden bridge , then switch to another party member. Then walk forward slowly, and your main character will literally walk through the wall. switch to him/her, and you will see that you are in a tunnel full of look, codex entry, and a new mineral crafting node, called paragons grace or something. I have no idea if the developers wanted us in there or not, but why fill it with loot if not? Seems strange they would have it blocked off.

Hit up a google search 5 mins ago about the lowest level, came here, read last post and tried immediately. Definitely a glitch, and definitely possible. Did it on first try, took like 5 secs. Room has loot in it, and clicking the map it tells you that you are indeed on the 3rd and lowest floor. The stone-door and the room behind it doesn't seem necessary in the Valhammar Carta quest, but maybe Varric's companion quest? Haven't gotten that far yet, though.

I've been all the places I can go in Valammar, including the drawven gear doors, but there is one door with a bash symbol. I cannot bash it, immolate it or anything it. Am I missing a quest? Is this a bug? Varric is in my party and always has been.

Not sure if its related or not, but I made a save directly before trying the glitch to get into the room.  Glitch worked fine, but I decided to go back to my save just in case it hosed Varric's sidequest.  The save keeps loading me directly into a wall (one I wasn't even near when I saved).
