What a tangled web we weave once we installed this $hite on our hard drives. Bioware/EA, you'll be hearing from MANY lawyers. I'd suggest that ANYbody that has a complaint, should do so here on these forums. There may be a class action lawsuit on this one. Waaaay too many people are signing petitions.
Are we getting a patch for auto attack for PC?

What? A PC game made by PC gamers for PC gamers....Sounds like TOTAL FABRICATION to me. Blatant lies. We'll all sort this out in the end.....

Yep, just what the world needs, more lawsuits...

Meanwhile in the real world, what will be the lawsuit be seeking in compensation?
X number of lost experience points?
As far as complaining on these forums are concerned,
I'd say this is the most mellow I've seen BSN since DAO...

Why is this such a big deal? Seriously. I play on PC and have no issues with this. Actually very use to it with SWTOR as there is no auto attack there either.

Yes, Etagorn and Sofajockey have it right. The maximum "compensation" any suit could obtain would be the refund of the purchase price.
Anybody know of a lawyer willing to work for pennies-per-hour? Thought not. ![]()
So kwitcherbitchin' and either play the game, or don't. But threatening "legal action" just makes you sound like an immature idiot.

My issue is more with the ridiculous aiming and how it will just lock onto one thing for no explainable reason. I wish there was some kind of option for my aim to auto shift to whatever target i'm near and also allow me to manually select. So many times i've found my character swinging at the air when there's an enemy right next to her, but the stupid aim is focused on a target fifty yards away somewhere.

I'm so disappointed with DA:I. It's pretty, but too busy. Also surprisingly clunky and slow. It really interferes with an immersive experience. But the real problem is that it's so unfriendly to PC play. I'm just about able to manage my RSI issues in other games by using keyboard shortcuts and addons that reduce the number of mouse clicks needed. DA:I doesn't allow for that. Key bindings don't even have a secondary option.
Thinking about putting this away until it can be properly patched or modded. I'd rather go play DA:O or DA2 again. Hugely let down.

Uh...Why would anyone design a new game engine to not work for 4 legged creatures? I know that Frostbite 3 was designed for shooters, but you'd think even then a designer would think "and in this scene we'll have attack dogs" or whatever. The engine was intended to be used for multiple games since version 2. Frostbite 3 is supposed to be able to create a "living world" (their words), which I would tend to assume has at least some animals in it.
Did the guy mean something completely different and just expressed his thoughts badly?

The dogs were either fried by bombardment or eaten by the survivors
.
Battlefield didn't have animals, luxuriant long hair or romance, so BioWare had to build the priority components...

No, look at DAI's bears from a distance when they walk over uneven terrain. They're clearly just two bipedal creatures that have been tied together. Their knees even bend the same way (even though no quadriped is like that).Uh...Why would anyone design a new game engine to not work for 4 legged creatures? SWTOR has 60 hotbar keys showing at one time, decent aiming, a good PC menu/inventory interface and AI control for your non-controllable follower. You don't need auto attack because there is always an ability to click off of cooldown. I've never clicked to attack in SWTOR and I've been playing it since launch.
On the other hand, DAI has a grand total of 8 abilities at one time, idiot AI that insists on running up to a dragon to shoot at range, a console interface with clumsily mapped keyboard controls, little or no mouse support, and crappy aiming and targetting. As someone mentioned above you find your character slicing at air more often than not.
But yeah, other than that, JUST like SWTOR. ![]()

SWTOR's companions are pretty idiotic too. It just doesn't matter so much
