Now, the formal attire for the ball, that did my character no favors at all. With her hair and freckles, she looked like a tomato wearing a yellow sash. Leliana couldn't pull it off, either; the flared shoulders made her head look itty-bitty.

Oh gosh, I hated the formal wear on my Inquisitor. She rocked the taupe though. I am just sad panda that alternating the fabric of my current armor doesn't affect it. I would have no problem with the gear if it looked like what my Inquisitor was actually wearing in the field. Hmmm, wearing hard core Dragon Scale... naaaaah, lemme climb into my bear hide!~
yeah it's pretty awful. Not sure who thought that design was a good idea...
The casual outfit is horrid. I'm surprised Viv doesn't try to burn it every time she sees the Inquisitor.
She'd have to lower her nose first. 
I really do wish we could have at least had options like in Mass Effect, or at the very least, be able to craft it from different materials ourselves. The same goes for the formal outfit, I don't hate the look, but the colours does not do any of my ladies an favours. And we know that can be crafted, so eh. D;
It looks so ridiculous on male elf inquisitors. You have the inner council and all the nobles hanging around in decent outfits and formal attire and then there's the inquisitor prancing around the castle in skintight pajamas... 
I mean what the hell even Spreadsheets online AKA Eve has more and better clothing options well standing around in the station.

After my mage and archer uber pro inquisitor starter armors was wondering how will be heavy one looking like... :| My female quanari warrior got her inquisitor plate... looking like a Skyhold outfit even colour is same Dx
So bassically Skyhold pjs at Haven XD Omg she will be looking so damn bad in future..
my three inquisitors all look ridiculous in the Skyhold garb. whoever said "beige pajamas" had it absolutely spot on. looks like unobtrusive cleaning or supermarket personnel garb.

"Robes" is a pretty generous description of that.
What buggs me is it's the same outfit you were sleeping in after the Temple of Sacred Ashes... So it IS pjs..And then you just get up, put your armour on top of that and never take it off.. 
It probably stinks. Ew.
May be those PJs are just stuck to you like the anchor?

Sweet! Hope I can afford a decent PC to play this game by the time the mods come out (stuck playing on 360 for now).
So this has been mentioned in other threads before but I felt it necessary to point out here as well: Anyone on the PC should really head over to CheatEngine and download the newest table. It's not overly complicated to use. Yeah you have to fire up a third party software every time you play but it lets you wear your normal armor. There was a collective sigh of relief in Skyhold when my Inquisitor finally decided to dress appropriately. I've been using it for a while now and it adds so much immersion to my game.

Also for PC users, the first ever DA:I mod was released. It's a very simple recoloring of the Skyhold outfit. It makes it either black and white or black with the Inquisition logo on it. It's not much, I mean it goes from beige to black and the filesize is at 220mb, but hey it presents an option!

We really need something to change what we wear at Skyhold. and when I said this, I'm looking at BioWare, since not everyone is on pc and can get mods. 
I'm sure I'we seen gameplay videos at Skyhold pre release where the Inquisitor wear her armour while at Skyhold. Why was this feature taken away? 
I don't like the PJ's either. BW should give us more casual options like in ME2 and 3. Or at least make the PJ's customizable, since we do have some pretty nice fabrics in the game like ring velvet, silk, etc. I'm on PC but I would much rather like BW giving us the change option instead of a mod.
My Qunari looks like someone stuffed him into goodwill clothes that are five sizes too small for him.

You made me laugh because it's true! I made a Qunari and look so funny in Skyhold. How will impose himself with that outfit??
And I'm playing now in Xbox with a human male. I don't know if this happen in PC or PS but.... Anyone else noticed the belly of the inquisitor to judge on the throne? Looks like it would have taken too much beer. Lol!
