Great question, especially on my Qunari ...come on now.

LOL so true. I started a Qunari warrior last night and she looks really silly wearing the beige suit. There is no way any Qunari would want to wear anything choking them on their casual time. Clothes would be just a necessity for battle. Make them fierce-looking no matter what they're doing! Or at least more wrap-around styles on their casual wear. They are tribal, are they not? Inquisitor or no, they are who they are. Look at how the Iron Bull dresses. Granted, he's a unique character, but that's how I imagine all of his people dress for the most part. Tribal/middle eastern influence. His shoes on the video they made are slightly curled up like some middle eastern shoes are designed.

As it is, the suit only looks good on elven females.

So this has been mentioned in other threads before but I felt it necessary to point out here as well: Anyone on the PC should really head over to CheatEngine and download the newest table. It's not overly complicated to use. Yeah you have to fire up a third party software every time you play but it lets you wear your normal armor. There was a collective sigh of relief in Skyhold when my Inquisitor finally decided to dress appropriately. I've been using it for a while now and it adds so much immersion to my game.

Ditto on CheatEngine...very easy to use. The best thing is that your Skyhold outfit will change as often as you change your armor. However, if you do decide to download it, don't use the 1st big link on the download page...it has a 3rd party add-on called Open Candy (the page is up front and tells you about it). There is a 2nd link below the first one that does not have the 3rd party add-on. This is the one I used and it works perfectly.

Wow, thanks! You have literally made my day :) It was killing me having to wear that Skyhold outfit, especially given the issues with the elf body. I'll download CheatEngine and give it a go.

You made me laugh because it's true! I made a Qunari and look so funny in Skyhold. How will impose himself with that outfit??

And I'm playing now in Xbox with a human male. I don't know if this happen in PC or PS but.... Anyone else noticed the belly of the inquisitor to judge on the throne? Looks like it would have taken too much beer. Lol!

Yep, it happens on PC, as well. When I saw that belly, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry... or make him do more sit-ups. It doesn't look very good.

What Bioware intended:

What everyone else sees:

burberry-black-check-pajama-set-product-

Hahaha, too true, Axe

Bioware did the same mistake in DA2, that home outfit and most of all the aweful party outfit of Mark the assassin looked so bad on my female characters that I had to make a mod to fix them!

I think this suit is a sign that the human was the original design/default. It has poncy noble written all over it. :D And the grey and gold motif fits the Trevelyan colors.

It's not a sign, that is what happened. The Inquisitor was going to be human only at first.

I used the big link and did not get the 3rd party add-on because I went CUSTOM install and unchecked the optional extras both times ensuring only the program got installed..

I didn't get an option to custom install when I tried the 1st link. As soon as I tried to run the installer Malwarebytes blocked the Open Candy portion. I want no part of 3rd party apps that scan my system and make recommendations, even if I can say "no" to those recommendations.

I use the .exe in the 2nd link and didn't even need to install it. It runs directly from it's own folder and works just fine.

I was playing and my brother came in. The first thing out of his mouth was "why are you running around in pajamas?"

Cheat Engine might be easy for you, I can't even get the tutorial to work right, it's supposed to say Health xxx at one point but, the CE screen with tutorial process loaded is just blank. Hit scan and tells me I have to enter something, tried the passwoprd given in tutorial, tried "health" no luck. I'm lost and, thus stuck with the PJs in skyhold.

I didnt worry about the tutorial to be honest. I am only using it for schematics and toggling skyhold. If you want to edit your stats, you might want to use the tutorial, but for me, I only need it for very limited things. I do not believe in stat altering in a game.. I'd rather still have the grind. I just add certain schematics at the start.. I still need to go out and find the raw materials though. I don't actually mind the grind for resources.. I usually get hundreds just hunting for those loot locations as I clear out an area. It is just the endless chest farming for schematics..

Ditto, I only use it for the skyhold outfit toggle, which is just hitting the NUM 8 key after you load up CheatEngine.

yeah it's pretty awful.  Not sure who thought that design was a good idea...

Its one of the few things in DAI that bothers me
duppy pjs being inquisitor I think he she would wear something more....presentable especially when being a noble
no character/weapon zoom
armour crafting while generic is flawed with the lack of colour customization if you are not carefull you'll be lookin like a clown
no storage chest
Not enough accent/voice choices

just a few in mind

What I really don't get is why in the world they want to stick us into these bland suits at every chance they get. Hawke's casual and party wear sucked but thankfully they could be modded into pretty dresses. And now, with DAI, we have to endure it yet again. The Skyhold outfit could be better if we could adjust the colours by using our materials on it. But better yet, just give us more options to choose from. Options are always great. But the thing that irked me the most was the Orlesian Ball attire. I mean...COME ON! Give us all the same uniform outfit to prove we're in some sort of fantastic group together. NO! Josephine, Vivienne and even Solas mention how posturing is necessary. I wanted to wear something that could give Morrigan and Celene's dresses a run for their money. Or even something on par with some of the lesser nobles or peasants even! But noooo instead they put me into some sort of man suit. I felt like Eric from the little mermaid.

Or wait...no. I felt like this guy.

And what do you know...the hair matches most of our options...heh...

My Qunari looks like someone stuffed him into goodwill clothes that are five sizes too small for him.

My elf looks like he's ten.

Oh I laughed for awhile at this.

Even changing the color pattern, the Skyhold PJs are quite inglorious on elves and Qunari. (expecially male)

I've been near ripping out my hair trying to figure out how to use Cheat Engine. Guess I should have just stayed on my stance of not downloading a completely new program. I'll just stick with the black recolor that I can get from the Nexus, less of a headache trying to figure that out

BW seriously need just to fire those who came up with this sh*t. Because it's so ugly I want to stub myself in the eye everytime I see it, especially on the females and the elves.

I found the post that helped me to start using it:

I thought it was gonna be complicated, too, and it looks like it is if you're actually trying to cheat, like having unlimited supply of this and that in the merchant vendor, etc.

But if all you want to do is toggle off Skyhold outfit (as well as the HUD/interface!) it couldn't be easier. It took me 5 minutes and I'm the type of person who can't be bothered to mod anything more involved than just clicking a few buttons in Nexus Mod Mangager.

1. Load Dragon Age Inquisition game.
2. Open Cheat Engine 6.4 (64-bit version) (download here: http://cheatengine.org/downloads.php
3. Open cheat table (download the .CT in this post) with CE. (Menu > File > Load) Hit yes when asked if you want to run LUA.
^ just download the "cheat table" thing "DragonAgeInquisition.patch2hotfix.CT" at the bottom of the forum post
4. Open DragonAgeInquisition.exe process with CE. (Menu > File > Open Process > Select "DragonAgeInquisition.exe" > Open)
^"DragonAgeInquisition.exe" is literally right there in the list that opens up
5. Check the box next to the scripts (red) you want to activate in the bottom panel.
Right there,  "Toggle Skyholdoutfit" is listed, and all you have to do is check the box. If you're in Skyhold while doing this, just open up Inventory, and reapply your armor, and thats it. I also like to use Toggle HUD. I gave it a hot key, and it's a easier way for me to hide the interface rather than using the command console.
