I agree...Bioware are so great with breaking out from the typical manly heroes, catering to different types of sexualities and actual armor for women and not metal-bikinis and yet, both Hawke and now the Inquisitor gets the male version of the "fancy" clothing (I don't care that everyone has that formal attire - it's an Orlesian ball, Leliana would never wear that and our female Inquisitor deserves a dress, or something dress like, like what Josephine normally wears but less golden and frilly), the male walk (well, in cutscenes, while running female Hawkes swayes her hips like she's a professional)and the sitting...
I don't work in animation, I know nothing about it, but is it really that hard? To either let us choose the walk or have two different types, a more masculine for males and a femine for females?
And Cassandras walk is really feminine, I am so jealos...
But ok, this really isn't about the walk, but the terrible skyhold clothes...I agree, but I stand by my statement that it wouldn't be as bad if we could choose different colours or even craft it by using our lower tier fabrics (or higher if anyone wants to use their dragon webbing for that..)
But there really should have been different ones depending on your race, because that looks like a male attire for a noble, Trevalyan clothes.
I have been in several threads today discussing different aesthetic choices made by Bioware and all in all it's not the most important thing. BUT, they should now by now that a really big part, possible the largest?, of the rpg community really cares about the character creation - it's always "more hairstyles!", "more outfits, more, more, more!
I hope we get more choices for the Skyhold outfit (and hairstyles) in a DLC
