I don't hate it...I was just really looking forward to wear a dress after the Mark of the Assassin fiasco :P

That's actually another thing that bothers me. Why would everyone wear the same? They're like a bad 90's boyband. I'd rather they had their own unique ball outfits with a badge or embroidered heraldry or something to indicate that they're with the Inquisition. (Imagine if they had stuck Cassandra in a dress xD) I was so disappointed when I saw this. Not as much as when I saw my character was forced to wear it too, though.

I'm sure a mod will solve the issue at some point, a pity, but at least... :)

It's a shame that we are forced to use mods after all the critique and complaints they got from Mark of the Assassin, they apologized for it and explained that there were issues with it, time constraints etc, so they should have made sure to have given us a nice ballgown, or the choice of one. At least something that looked like it was actually made for a female.

I don't mind the inquisition matching...but the exact same clothes? And the colours are weird, they should have been in black, white and red; the inquisition colours.

I did not know that there were complaints with Mark of the Assassin, I understand why, but as I played the game for the first time last May I missed all the controversy. Isn't there a saying about humans and brick walls and such? :)

Has anybody had any problems using Cheat Engine after this most recent patch? I just got my newest character to Skyhold yesterday so I started using Cheat Engine again. I'm using the most recent version and I was getting frequent and random CTD's. My game has always been rock solid and never crashed, until I started using Cheat Engine again yesterday. At first I thought it was flycam, but I narrowed it down to Cheat Engine, unfortunately. And the CTD's are so frequent that I can't deal with it. To test, I patched in a jammy retexture and stopped using the Cheat Engine toggle script and so far so good, even with using flycam.

That really stinks - I liked seeing armor in Skyhold, but I guess a jammy retexture will have to be enough. This one is the best one I've found so far:

MelissaGT, your characters always look amazing.  I think my elf does that outfit better though.  At least it doesn't look like she borrowed her outfit from Blofeld or Dr Evil:

I think they designed it with annoying the customers in mind actually, its the only logical reason they'd add those pajamas.

Yeah, it does look better on elves. Beggars can't be choosers with the jammy retextures though. There are some really... "interesting" ones out there for sure.

It was between those and and the plain black/white ones. I liked the brocade look these give though. I might try the blue option instead. I just know that these jammies will show under crafted armor so I wanted to go with the most neutral color, which would be black. If anybody has any others they'd like to suggest I'd be happy to give a look! I know folks are posting mods outside of the Nexus but I have no idea how to find them.

It may simply be the script you are running. I use CE as well and, it's fine with the table I have - the one with the option to edit or toggle just about everything. Don't have to use all of the options.

I'm pretty sure that all the Skyhold outfits are meant to be the padding that the character wears under their armor. It's especially obvious with Dorian and Blackwall, whose outfits both have that quilted pattern on them.

Presumably the inquisitor wears more comfortable clothes as PJs. Ones without boots and rows upon rows of brass clasps.

I really only know how to use CE for the Skyhold outfit toggle. Previously I was using this - DragonAgeInquisition.patch2hotfix.CT. I only use CE when I know I'm going to be in Skyhold. I was working on a newer character and she finally got to Skyhold the other day. However, now I get CTD's, and this would be the first time I've used CE since the latest patch. I also tried using the most recent version for CE - DragonAgeInquisition.CT. I'm not sure if there's anything else I should be doing differently. I haven't changed anything else in my process.

I found this a couple of days ago, sadly it's only for female elves (Although the elf male retex from the same author is gorgeous too!), but I love how it looks on my mage, and how well it works with mage armor.

(and no, me and the character creator are NOT on friendly terms....)

It's just a shame that we have to resort to mods to get something that looks reasonable or even fits with the character. I mean the PJ's (preferably in different colors) I could see on a human and a dwarf, but a dalish elf or a qunari? No way. But at least we got a talented modding community...

Yeah, I been using flycam a ton but not CheatEngine and I've had zero crashes. As for jammie retextures, I'm a big fan of this one for elves. Looks nice but still fits the universe imo.

EDIT: D'oh, should have read the comment right above mine before answering this one lol.

I really do love the look of this jammy mod, especially under armor:

Does anybody know if there is an alternate version of this jammy mod that doesn't have the hole in the chest? It looks great from a distance, but there are some pretty garish pixel issues that you can see in close-ups:

As far as I know there isn't, but you could always ask the mod author if they're willing to make an alternative version. That's what I did for the one I'm using, because the original version has armored shoulders and legs for the female (and I don't know about everyone else, but I find that some of the glare on smaller metal pieces looks plain weird. That and it looked strange with my mage), and some mod makes can be quite accomodating, so no harm in asking. :)

Yeah, several people asked the mod author in the nexus thread on it and the author said no. However, they do provide the means of making the modifications yourself. Alas, I am not a modder so I have no idea how to do it on my own.

I imagine the texture is in DDS format.. If so, It's very possible you'll see a another modder alter it.

Ugh. These mods look so much better than the original that I'm almost tempted to buy the game again for PC just so I can mod it, if not for the fact that that would be rewarding Bioware twice for a missing feature.... :/

(Also I don't have a PC that could run it which doesn't help)

You made me laugh because it's true! I made a Qunari and look so funny in Skyhold. How will impose himself with that outfit??

And I'm playing now in Xbox with a human male. I don't know if this happen in PC or PS but.... Anyone else noticed the belly of the inquisitor to judge on the throne? Looks like it would have taken too much beer. Lol!

Yes! It seems to happen really bad to male qunari and humans! That's one thing lady inquisitors don't have to deal with.

Instead we have to deal with our girls spreading their legs like they're on the New York subway. XD
