I thought it quite neat that the game recognises you'd played The Last Court, but am curious as to the results of what you choose when you 'Investigate Serault' on the War Table - I know if you contact the Marquise directly, you 'ally' with them and 'have agents watch the town for a bit' and recieve some gold - but does anything else come of that, or is that it for that decision? And what happens if you choose Leliana's suggestion of contacting the people of Serault over the Marquise instead?

A few sites say that if you complete all of the Serault operations with Cullen, you'll get an additional window customization for Skyhold (Boon of the Serault Glasswork).

ETA: Choosing Josephine for "Investigate Serault" will lead to "Search for the Lost" as a new operation; if you use Leliana, you'll get "Quell Unrest in Serault."

Unfortunately, I'm having trouble getting the first operation to pop up at all, so I can't confirm this. I suspect it's because I never did the Last Court, but the devs have claimed that doing so has no effect on Inquisition. If not doing TLC means no Serault operation in DA:I, that would be completely false.

I received the Serault Glass Skyhold option after doing the first War Table mission.  Don't remember which advisor I picked.

Not really. When they said it didn't affect DAI they were meaning it had no story impact, which it doesn't.

I beg to differ. "No effect" and "no story impact" are by no means synonymous and cannot be used interchangeably, especially in a game such as DAI that has so much non-story content. If the devs meant story-wise, they should have specified that. As they phrased it, their claim was false and led me to import a world state without doing TLC. Had I known I could have gotten additional war table operations and an exclusive customization option by doing TLC, I would have done so before I began DAI. As it was, I had read about other users' negative experiences with TLC elsewhere in this forum and decided to avoid it if it had no effect on DAI. It would have been my fault had I assumed TLC had no impact; hearing it from the horse's mouth to find out the horse was wrong is another matter entirely.

So is it confirmed then that one must have completed the The Last Court to get access to this operation?

Could check by loading the built in worldstate and not one from the keep.

I don't think it references your choices in TLC, it referred to the character being male, the Scholar, but mine was female, the Huntress.

Indeed.
"The Keep will record the choices and decisions you make in The Last Court, but don’t worry: it won’t have an impact on your story in Dragon Age: Inquisition and is entirely optional."

"Will this affect anything in the Keep or Dragon Age: Inquisition?
Some choices you make in The Last Court will be written to the Keep (you won't be able to see them yet), but these do not affect Inquisition's story or plot. However, upon completing The Last Court, this opens up two war table missions in DA:I. Finish those missions and you'll be rewarded with an extra Skyhold customization option! "

In my experience:

I've looked in the sections of the online Keep and can't find a place where TLC playthrus are kept. That could mean nothing (meaning they just haven't added that yet) or it could mean that no specifics about our TLC playthru is logged in the Keep except that we played it (unlikely). DAI refers to the Marquis of Serault as a male, even though my TLC playthru was The Huntress (resolution being family honor restored). I was awarded Serault Windows after choosing Josie's option for the 1st Serault War Table misison. For the 2nd Serault War Table Mission I chose Leliana and the result was the Marquis being found but the Inquisition Emissary going missing. I have yet to encounter the 3rd Serault War Table Mission, if there is one, however I'm still in Act 2.

Can someone tell me if the Codex entry Places 35 "The Marquisate of Serault Glassworks" is unlocked by anything related to TLC or these war table missions?

That codex entry unlocked for me after I did the second Serault war table mission.

DAI refers to the Marquis of Serault as a male

I thought that was generic on purpose: it always was "the marquis" just as much as Hawke always was "the Viscount" even if she is female. I might be wrong. Am I wrong?

Anyone find a confirmed answer to this? Even the wiki contradicts itself on each page.

I played Last Court after I played DA: I and it unlocked in my game. Turns out its not locked to the Keep but rather to your Account :) So if you've logged in with the same account hat you played Last court on, you can unlock it at any time! (Just tried it today)

Do you just have to play  the last court or do you have to finish it? Because I really don't want to finish it. It takes way too long. But I reeeeaaalllyyyy want that glass.

The only thing I remember about the Serault missions is that we lost the marquis in the woods and he never came out. Uh ...whoops. Still got the glass.

I find TLC extremely boring. I get the same dopy cards over and over again. Moreover, it's limited to 20 draws and there's waiting time. And if you don't want to wait ... cha ******! $$$ please , if you want to continue or is it undo some moves. Whatever. No thanks. Not going to finish playing it.

Did anyone ever figure this out? I really want the windows but don't want to finish the game. If I start a game and lose will I still get the glass? Or do you have to win?

So do I have to export my DA keep thing and start a new game if I want to unlock the mission "Investigate Serault" or do I just need to complete Last Court and it'll show up automatically? Cus I really don't want to start a new game.
