I saw in another thread that it was tied to your account and not the keep. It shows up as soon as the game is completed. I just want to know if I have to make an effort or if I could just purposely fail the game to hurry it along.

Correct; it doesn't matter what you do in Last Court, so long as you complete it. However, Market Days are still on a real time counter (24 hours iirc), so it's going to take you a week to finish.
Edit: Unless you throw real money at the game to buy Dawn and hurry it along. But considering the war table rewards related to Serault missions, I don't think it's worth real money.

After gaining the intial reward and starting the Market Days Left Timer, TLC is supposed to push forward every 24 hours regardless of what you've done or not done... excluding the character dying of course. Pretty certain this means you can Fail-Complete the game. You just need to log in to activate each Market Day choice once that timer is on.
Afterthought: I can confirm that DAI does refer to the Marquis as HE during the Serault War Table missions, regardless of playing as a female. Whether this is a glitch or oversight, I dunno. It is however consistent, in my experience. If playing a female Marquis and having DAI refer to her as HE will bug you then obviously playing a male Marquis resolves that immersion annoyance.
