DAMP doesn't look or feel like a biovar game. It looks and feels like something churned out in 3 months by one of those brand new third party developers that Sega buys out for like $500
They touted it as the same dev team who did ME3MP but I just don't see it. And I'm not talking about gameplay I'm talking about the quality of what's there. It is very low.

As someone who has played well over 1k hours of ME3MP, and over 100 hours of DA3MP, here's a brief breakdown.
ME3 MP vs DA3 MP
Smooth vs clunky, unresponsive, and tearfully retarded controls and physics that make dragon age 2 controls and physics look brilliant
Good GUI vs retarded GUI. Minimap at the very bottom left corner and warrior "guard" literally hides your hit points... enough said.
Somewhat buggy when first released vs. MANY POWERFUL BUGS DOING COMBO ATTACKS ON YOU, CONGRATULATIONS ON WINNING, BECAUSE WE FAILED "DOWNLOADING DATA" AFTER YOU WON YOU WILL EARN 0 EXP FOR COMPLETING THIS OPERATION.
Decently written shouts vs cringeworthy not-even-fanfic-quality bs that don't even match the hotkeys and often don't even work after many presses
Rewarding loot system vs trololol RNG that has to make good items extremely rare since no upgrades from copies (no I-X versions of weapons)
Extremely varied weapon choice vs 95% of items being placeholders that become utterly obsolete after you get higher DPS items
Strategy, skill, and teamwork vs RUN IN SMASH SMASH SMASH AOE AOE AOE, revive noobs, pick up loot, struggle with self-repairing clay pots and moving in lag-induced running speed reduction and pressing shift to move 5% faster to get to the next room to do the same thing 20 times over per run.

I did chuckle at most of your post but come on, ME3MP is "RUN IN SMASH SMASH SMASH AOE AOE AOE, revive noobs."
And theres nothing wrong with that!!!

In ME3 mp, you are significantly more likely to get rares and ultrarares, because the odds have to be high in order for it to be feasible for players to continually upgrade their weapons. In DA3 mp, it is all or nothing, which means instead of 90% of the time you don't get something BiS, about 99% of the time you don't get something BiS.
To make things worse, ME3 loot is balanced such that you can use just about any weapon and other items since they are all decently balanced aside from being somewhat weaker depending on balance issues or quality of items. DA3 loot is deliberately extremely varied in effectiveness, to illustrate, a level 1 weapon may have 70 damage, while a level 23 unique BiS weapon can have 350 damage, about 5-fold increase.
The droprate in DA3 is many times worse than in ME3, and the viability of many items are a few to several times worse than in ME3.
This qualifies as trololololololololololololololol RNG. Goodbye.

tl;dr So many bad points.
You played 1k hours of ME3MP? From the start? Are you sure you remember how the MP was at launch?
Was it fun playing vanguard? Were the diversity of kits and weapons there?
Strategy skill teamwork? Really? The only strategy is to put your claymore shot in the face of the marauder before your teammate does it. I´m not criticizing that point, since I love it.
I won´t deny that there are too many bugs, but I bet most of them will get fixed.
[...] Goodbye.

Actually, when played properly it's " RUN IN AOE AOE AOE SHOOT SHOOT SMASH SMASH, noobs get downed, SMASH, SHOOT, SMASH, SHOOT, noob has bled out"
Clearly very different

Yes I did play ME3MP at launch, and I played vanguard about 80% of the time because I loved the jiggly and being crazy, and even though it would occasionally bug out I did not worry much about it at all because I enjoyed the game so much I could put up with such bugs. Overall, ME3MP at launch had much less bugs and many more options and replayability, but most importantly significantly more viable weapons and rewarding drop system. In DA3, there is no weapon variety because 90% of the UNIQUES are OBSOLETE-ABLE by higher rank uniques, rares, AND EVEN COMMONS. They are nothing more than stepping stones, and when you have people with end game gear, there is zero variety, it's always the same weapon because there is only 1 best sword, 1 best shield, 1 best greatsword, 1 best staff, 1 best bow, 1 best dagger.
I am under 20 in leaderboard and I am still using a white quality onehanded sword and offhand dagger. This is after well over 150 dungeons. After this amount of time, I would've unlocked most of the available weapons to a very high degree in ME3MP, and not only that, I could play with almost all of the items, whereas in DA3MP I am scrapping every single item that isn't my best sword, shield, greatsword, staff, bow, and daggers. There is almost zero replayability from swapping weapons because when comparing any weapons one is so clearcut better than the other that you can't even experiment.
Again, the arguments that ME3MP was more buggy than DA3MP don't mean anything to me, because I have crashed so ridiculously much here and seen so many ridiculous bugs. ME3MP was significantly less buggy than DA3MP at start, end of story.

Whats annoying me with the game at the moment is the movement in-game. The characters feel so slow even when sprinting and the maps feel very small and tight, the amount of times I have been blocked off by a pug when going through doors...
It really is annoying.

That's a good reason to play it on console.

Or use a wired 360 controller. The controls are unquestionably better with a controller.

This. I normally detest using the gamepad on PC, but this game was so obviously designed for it that resistance seems futile. It's not 100% free of annoyances (for example, pushing the left joystick thingie for "sprint" is a pain in the ass), but nothing nearly as exhausting as holding the right mouse button all the time.
