...pushing the left joystick thingie for "sprint" is a pain in the ass...

Which is kinda funny, cos it's the standard gamepad control for sprint, and ME3 is the odd one out. Every time I play BF3/4 or a CoD game on console after a run of ME3 I go jumping around the map instead of sprinting...

Standard? But it's such a hard thingie to push! My thumb starts aching after a few games, and on top of that, I'm never entirely sure I did push it because the click sound/sensation is iffy. And you can't really tell when you're sprinting in this game. You can sort of tell you're not from how far ahead the other players are.

What is it called? The thingie. A "stick"? As in LS?

(I also have problems with parsing L-things and R-things, but that's no fault of either the game or the controller.)

It is a stick, as in LS and RS, and although it may be uncomfortably unfamiliar it is the standard shooter layout.

If Biovar had used the extra two buttons (LS + RS press) then maybe they could have tamed the omnibutton even.

Considering the flak DA:I is getting about pc controls, is MP worth it for PC?

Let's hope controls and GUI get better with a patch in the near future.

If you have a (360) controller, yes.
