have recheck to see if i could find him anywhere...no luck, he is not at the waypoint, not at the cabin in the farms and at the stables in darse.

That might be the cause of the problem as i am not sure if the stable are suppose to be unlock BEFORE you complete the two quest concering the watchtowers (for bronn) and the wolf problem (for stable master's wife).

has anyone had trouble with those quest aslo ?

Thank the Maker I'm not the only one! I read that he was supposed to be at the round hut near the farm, but he's not there and like you I've got a marker in a different place - pointing to the little cave in Dead Ram's Grove. I have no clue how to fix it.

I've reloaded a few times and although the quest marker is still in the same place, Bron has now appeared in the round house near Dennet's farm. I've had a few invisible companion/advisor moments back in Haven and reloading fixed them too.

yep, i came back today and i noticed first the workers were back in the fields (they weren't there before so that was part of the bug...i guess a problem with some quest flag...)

so i went to his cabin and waited some 5 sec before he pops out of thin air and i could validated the quest.

Resolved but still bugged.

I believe you actually have to go back to Haven, go to the war map or w/e it's called, and then select to have those towers built. Then you go back and talk to the guy. Haven't tried this myself yet but that's what I read online.

I don't think you can get the 'build the watchtowers' quest without talking to Bron first though, can you? Could be wrong (only did the quest last night); I spent half an hour(?) running round the farm trying to find him (his quest marker kept moving around) but eventually I did bump into him in his workshop (round hut) and got the quest that way.

The stables are unlocked AFTER you complete this and the wolves quest given by Dennet's wife ...remember when you talked to Dennet he said he'll only help the Inquisition if you help the farms first.

Confirming this ...you have to build the watchtowers (op @your war table) after you find and place all 3 markers to finish this quest.

I'm not sure why Bron is moving around for folks (he stayed in his armory the whole time I was on this quest) but then again, I have been very lucky I guess in that I've yet to have a single quest bug out on me in the 110+ hrs I've played the game (having said this i've most-likely jinxed myself and will not be able to complete the next dozen quests I attempt :P )

Stuck on this quest with a slightly different problem.

I have found and marked the watchtower locations.  But when I go back to him he acts like he is giving me the quest for the first time.

I am also stuck on this quest, with Bron's beacon near a cave. I will look for him at the other places mentioned, but it is worth noting that I play on Xbox One, and I'm not sure if the update is out yet for it, which is supposed to fix various bugs.

I also have a glitch for the Templars to the West. When I go to the beacon, nothing happens, even after I have cleared the enemies.

The Operation should have popped up when you placed the third tower beacon in my experiences.  Then you just go to the war table and do the operation.  Talk to Bron once you are done with that.  He wants the towers built. Not just the locations marked.

As for the little Templar issue. If your talking about the big camp near the castle. There are still more Templars for you. I'd suggest looking along the river toward the south.

Here is the bug I'm dealing with:
- Dealt with wolves
- Built watch towers
Bron acknowledges that I completed both.
I wandered off and did about 20 more quests and then I noticed in my journal that the need for horses was still there so I went back to Bron but he won't talk now other than to say "Be safe!" arghh

Okay here is how it goes.

1.Talk to Vale in the outskirts, ask about the Horses.

2. Talk to Dennet.

3. Mount horse for Inquisitor.

4. Talk to Wife

5. Talk to Bron

6. Kill wolves

7. Mark watchtower locations

8. Go to war table, start operation to build watchtowers

9. Wait for operation to complete then, get report.

10. Talk to Wife, tell her wolves are dealt with.

11.Talk to Bron, tell him towers are built.

12. Talk to Dennet, get horses and, if you do it right get Dennet to come with the horses.

DONE.

I've gotten that bug you mentioned Picpus, no matter how many times I reload the thing it says go talk to Bron, points you to spot out in middle of nowhere where he isn't instead of the hut he should be in. Have reloaded the game numerous times but still nothing. Very frustrating and irritating. Have done everything in that area but that quest because I can't find him.

ok as stated i got this bug on my first playtrough. i don't know how i got it to work unfortunately. at one time after many try, i noticed npc in the fields around the farm when there was none before. and when i got to the hut, bron pops up on me.

on my second playthrough, i did those quests first in the hinterland, watchtower and wolves. and got no problem this time.

there is an another quest though...the horse race quest. i did it first on my second playthrough before the other two...Don't know if the npcs of the area despawn when you do this quest ? may be related to the bug if haven't finish this quest when turning wolves and others...

Picpus, you might be on to something. I have never had that quest bug out on me but,m I have never done the horse race before it either. Just didn't make sense to race a horse before the Inquisition even had horses.

From 1st to 4th round, I did the wolf quest first, then I went to talk to the horsemaster. On the deleted 5th round, I did wolf and druffalo before talking to horsemaster. Bron was not in his hut, his icon was in front of the western map exit and no matter what I do, he didn't appear back in his hut. I never tried the porting to Haven and back again to see if it would dump Bron back to where he was.

In this current round (restarted), I went right up to his hut to check he's there. He was. I decided to do what I did before talking to horsemaster; wolf and druffalo. He was still there. So it has nothing to do with the sequence of the quests. Not sure about the horse race. I never do that first.
