Hi everyone,

And I have to say that I can't disagree. My Inquisitor is a Male Elf, and it bothers me that my head seems larger than my shoulders.

It is particularly pronouced during cutscenes, when my arms clips into my body because of the narrow shoulders...

 

At first I thought it was some kind of bug, until I found others players in my case, who just wanted to play a male Elf who is, as his nature wants it, thin and elegant, but not anorexic at a point it becomes buggy.

Blame Dragon Age 2. Elves looked like slightly smaller humans with pointy ears in Origins. I was fine with making them look slightly less human, but DA2 made them look freakish in my opinion. The exception was Orsino.

Broader shoulders is all I want male elf was my favorite in DA:O and now he looks like his arms are grafted to his neck or something. Even in DA2 they knew people wouldn't like it so they gave Fenris shoulder widening armor "feathers" and never showed him in a state of undress

Yeah, Male elves have some weird looking skinny body and they stand funny. "Beautiful by human standard" my ass.

I will say though, is at least they kept the PC elves the same as DA2 elves. PC qunari look like a hideous mix of the mountain/hodor rather than the DA2 models.

Yeah the female elf looks really great in my opinion to Coyote. Also you can thankfully make there noses like they where in 2 using the character creator hm Solas kinda has it as well.

No it isn't. Sure they're leaner than humans but they, the males at least, were never this skinny. DA:O to DA2, they thinned down but now they don't even have shoulders or any muscle on their arms. It looks ridiculous. Solas looks great, male elfs should at least match up to him. If it isn't a bug then I don't know what Bioware were thinking when they did the designs...

For me, the issue in DA 2 was their misshapen heads and huge eyes. Do they still have those?
