Dargon Age Team Made My Dream Game ![]()
This Game is so Perfect!
This Game is

Oh Yeah to the the Dragon Age Team
You sold me on the the vision for the dragon age 2 battle system in Inquisition
The best and... incredible addictive. I'm away from my pc for 2 days and I'm just... dying inside.
A good indication that the game is really good is that it takes a place in my hearth next to games such as Baldur's Gate I and II, Fallout 1-3, Daggerfall, Mass Effect series, and so on. I just love standing around and looking at the beautiful landscape, the combat is also great, an improvement over DA2, love the storytelling.
Skyrim is often mentioned but that is a game that had really dull storytelling mechanics, combat was also lacking. The best part was just exploration and well, mods. DA:I does not need mods for me to love it, Skyrim did.
its a very addictive game , there is almost too much to do , 50 hrs in i still didnt do half of the story
I'm on my way to work and thinking about the War table...I'm enjoying the game so far.
I agree. I wish there was more main quests though.
I wish the control scheme was the same is the other DA, otherwise it's damn good, and sooo vast
Maybe not my "favorite game ever", I'm a big fan of asymmetrical multiplayer games like L4D and the upcoming Evolve.
BUUUUUUT, "favorite RPG?" Yea, I think that's what DA:I is for me.
Beautifull open world games is my thing. Skyrim (modded) used to be my go to game for that. I am only 15 hours into DAI, but this already is my new favorite. Game is just great. I was a couple of hours into Far Cry 4 when I got this, but don't care about that game any longer. Will definitely be playing this till The Witcher 3. Great times, great times.
How old are you OP, what about XCOM and suikoden 2?

DAI as good as it is (Barring the issues), isnt better than half of that list. Have another think in 2 or 3 months. Its subjective of course, but still.

To me, Dragon Age Inquisition is far better than any rpg that I list.
Dragon Age Inquisition is My Dream RPG
I'm enjoying the game but there's definitely some issues. I think the whole semi-open world thing is working against itself. There's so little amount of plot content comparatively to all the recycled side-quests that are the same in each area it makes the game feel like a job at points. They should have at least tried to make the side quests engaging in some way, but they didn't. Honestly I'm happy with the game so far, it's no Origins but thank god all mighty it's not DAII either.

I completely agree about how the sidequests feel.
I agree. I'm 31 and have been playing games since the late 80's. I've played many a great game. DA:I is like the game that I've been building up to all these years. Amazing.
As a younger gamer, it's cool to hear something other than the usual "Back in MY day, RPGs were way better!"
Bah, saw "the Best Game Ever" in the thread's title so I thought it's about VtM:Bloodlines. ![]()
Nevermind then.
It's a potentially great game ruined by gamebreaking balance issues, huge combat AI (party and enemy) issues, huge tactical camera issues, and a lot of bugs (including one which crashes me to desktop for some reason).
I'll keep playing and role as a tank or mage only on any other plays. It's impossible to play the game any other way effectively.
Thank you BioWare for a great DA:I game! I'm loving the exploration/lore/characters/crafting... yes, I said crafting. I love how large each area is and how much more I have yet to explore. The environments and locations are wonderfully done. Very beautiful! I love watching the waves crash on the beach in the Storm Coast. I love the music, the ambiance... I think I heard a bee buzzing!
40hrs in and still sooo much to do still. Still need to get my Skyhold!
Maybe tonight.

Combat issues aren't really that bad, they just seem it at first. Crashes? Oh yes, had two in the first day, and none today, but it takes about 30 seconds to get back in. Big deal.
This game has completely restored my faith in RPGs. Well done Bioware.
PS I was one of the serious doubters when the user reviews came through after the USA release. Seriously don't know what planet they're on? I'd give this game a 90% + and I haven't even got into the really deep stuff yet.
