How is this mage casting while moving? I can't seem to find any talents that allow that. Was this taken out of the game?

You and me both, would be excellent for kiting. Can't seem to find out how though. :/

Do you mean the hand blast attack? That was a old animation for the regular staff attack, I believe it was removed for unknown reasons.  That's what i head at least.

Can you show where you read/heard that? If thats true, I wonder what made them change it?

You saw that too, I was wondering the same thing. Might of been an earlier build.

This was shown in July. I remember seeing another video though where they had a mage that had the hand blast, and another with the regular da2 attacks. Unfortunately I can't seem to find it.

It was removed, because it was awful (just my opinion).

I think only archers can now attack while moving . They probably chose to remove it - maybe some combat balance issue.

I rhougt about the same thing a while  ago. Thought on making a thread likse this myself, I wish we (Mage Fans) be able to move while attacking, please bioware put this!

It would be a nice perk for more experienced mages to be able to move a little while casting.

That looks terrible, I'm glad they removed it. It's also clear that you could use your hands more to cast instead of only the staff
