Druffalo won't move it just standing there and some few times i can make it to just go in circles, but nothing more?

Happened to me too.  If he stops try another path.  I took him through the tight valley between where you find him and the river.  When I got to the river he wouldn't follow.  Turns out I was trying to bring him down too steep an embankment and had to have him follow me further down the bank to where the drop into the river isn't so steep.

 

Oh, and when you get him close to the farm DON'T take him through the lake.  Take the long way around it to the left, through the farm area and onto the path..  Trust me.

Am I not supposed to kill this Druffalo? I've been fighting it for a long time, and it won't die. LOL Guess I'm supposed to be herding it, not killing it. Good grief.

...I somehow managed to clone the stupid thing. It followed me back to the farm without issue, but then refused to go into the pen. 

 

Then I turned around and there were two druffalo standing there mooing in annoyance and neither will go in the bloody pen!

 

And of course I don't have a save prior to finding the druffalo.

Maybe attempt to leave the Hinterlands and come back? That makes the game load the area again and 'correct' itself usually.

 

You should also be careful of taking it too close to the quest regarding the wolves in the area because not only will the Druffalo not move further with you (I didn't notice the embankment when I was searching for a way to bring it back to the farm) the wolves WILL attack it. I don't know whether the Druffalo can die, but I DID see the health bar it had decreasing dangerously. Don't go too far out with it, if you can help it.

Had some wolves attack the party when we got to the river as I was leading the Druffalo back ...damnest thing happend, the Druffalo charged a wolf and one shot crit killed one while me and my crew took the other two out

I finally got it! Apparently I was trying to make the druffalo go to the wrong pen, when it wanted to go to it's friends in the other pen! 

 

I was just roaming around, saw a locked building, and suddenly I have a druffalo charging bloody past me into it's pen!

LOL.. I too tried to kill it before I got the quest. HaHa.. I wondered why it wouldn't die
